Berserk the Audio Manga, Episode 7: The Guardians of Desire, Part 5
Project Overview
Berserk is a dark fantasy manga, written by Kentaro Miura. Following the Black Swordsman Guts, a man with a cursed fate, the story explores the depths of camaraderie and betrayal, and contemplates whether or not a man truly has any control over his destiny. Over the course of almost 30 years, over 300 chapters have been released, with the end still not in sight. This project seeks to adapt the entirety of Berserk, taking the incredible artwork from the manga and adding music, sound effects, and of course, voice acting.
Episode 7 continues the Guardians of Desire story line. In the wake of the Count's desperation, the Five Angels of the Godhand appear before the group. As Guts attempts to confront one of the members, Femto, with whom he has a personal vendetta, the Count is faced with a terrible choice. Either accept his predicament and face his own death, or sacrifice his only daughter, Theresia, for more power.
While I do consider this a passion project, it is something I ask that everyone put their best effort into. I want this to be the highest quality I can make it, and to do that, I need my cast to have good recording equipment and the discipline to get their lines in on time. With that said, any and all are welcome, and I look forward to hearing your auditions!
Voice Actor
One of the members of the Godhand, the main force of evil in Berserk, Slan is something along the lines of a sadistic queen succubus. She takes perverse pleasure in the struggle and suffering of others, and takes certain measures to make them worse. For her voice, I'm looking for something along the lines of C.L. Jones' performance from the English dub of the 1997 Berserk series, or Simone Montgomery's from the third Golden Age Arc film: The Advent.

Voice Actor
One of the members of the Godhand, Ubik is able to manipulate a person's psyche to bring up memories and images that reflect their worldview. He is deeply interested in the unique qualities that compel people to act as they do. For his voice, I'm looking for something similar to Christian Collingwood's performance from the English dub of the 1997 Berserk series, or Liam O'brien's from the third Golden Age Arc film: The Advent.

"Extreme hatred towards the Godhand propping him up... Towards Femto in particular... Who, after all, is responsible for marking him with the Brand... And yet...how long will he last?"

Voice Actor
One of the members of the Godhand, Conrad is able to directly effect the physical world in a unique way among the group. He manipulates the bizarre sacrifice dimension, and brings forth a terrible plague on the world later on. For his voice, I'm looking for something similar to Sean Schemmel's performance from the English dub of the 1997 Berserk series and the third Golden Age Arc film: The Advent.
