Needed Batman and Superman | - Closed

Project Overview

You can still leave auditions after a role has be closed. Put it under the Audition For section.

I'm gonna need a Batman and Superman in the future. I want to get this out of the way now. These will be reoccuring roles, so you should expect to recieve a lot of work. Batman and Superman can go from being minor characters to major.

Batman will have work when the audition is accepted.

You must be able to do Batman as well as Bruce Wayne.

Same can be said for Superman and Clark Kent.

Christian Bale is not accepted.

I won't be doing any project that involves that version of Batman.

Mic quality is important, so keep that in mind when auditoning.

Line number one is a requirment so I know which character you are doing(you can state it in a comment).

If you are doing a certain version of that character then let me know in the audition or comment.

The audition can be for DC, Marvel, etc.

You can read the lines which are provided or come up with your own.

If you want to tell me why you want to audition for that character then please do so.

ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT EVEN IF YOU DON'T GET THAT CHARACTER I WILL TRY MY BEST TO LOCATE A CHARACTER THAT IS IN THE CURRENT PROJECT(S) FOR YOU! YOU MIGHT END UP AS A VILLAIN, HERO, MINOR, OR SOMEONE YOU THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T DO!

  • I'm auditioning for _____.

  • A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.

  • Alright, keep the little beasts for all I care! Do what you want with them! Drown them! But I warn you, Anita, we’re through! I’m through with all of you!

Batman and Bruce Wayne both have different personalities.

Batman, in most of his incarnations, is a dark and grim hero with a personal vendetta against criminals. Traumatized by the death of his parents, Batman has sworn to rid Gotham from the criminal elements that took his parents from him. He is very paranoid and obsessive, which often makes it difficult for him to trust other people that aren't Alfred, the Robins, or the Batgirls.

Despite this, Batman has proved to have a great love for humanity, which was instilled by his parents. His father was a doctor, while his mother was a crusader against child abuse. Indeed, Batman's oath of vengeance is tempered with the greater ideal of justice. He refrains from killing, as he feels this would not make him any better than the criminals he fights. He is also a very prominent member of the Justice League and the founder of the Outsiders.

To protect his secret identity, Batman has constructed a fake persona he can use in his civilian identity. To the world at large, Bruce Wayne is a self-absorbed, superficial, irresponsible playboy and philanthropist. Only his closest allies know that this attitude is just an act.

The Bruce Wayne/playboy aspect of his character is a facade, while the masked and particularly dark, grim vigilante is marked as the "true" man. Usually, Batman is further separated from Bruce Wayne by the raspy and stony bass voice he usually assumes while costumed.

  • BATMAN:

People think it's an obsession. A compulsion. As if there were an irresistible impulse to act. It's never been like that. I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either.

  • BRUCE WAYNE;

Bruce Wayne: [answers the phone] Bruce Wayne.

(Earle: What makes you think *you* can decide who's running Wayne Enterprises? )

Bruce Wayne: Well, the fact that I'm the owner.

(Earle: What are you talking about? The company went public a week ago.)

Bruce Wayne: And I bought most of the shares. Through various charitable foundations, trusts, and so forth - look, it's all a bit technical, but the important thing is that *my* company's future is secure.

Superman and Clark Kent both have different personalities.

Superman is commonly seen as a brave and kind-hearted hero with a strong sense of justice, morality and righteousness. He adheres to a strict moral code often attributed to the small town American values with which he was raised, thanks to his adoptive parents. His commitment to operating within the law has been an example to many other heroes but has stirred resentment among others, who refer to him as the "big blue boy scout." Superman can be rather rigid in this trait, causing tensions in the superhero community, notably with Wonder Woman (one of his closest friends) after she killed Maxwell Lord.

To protect his secret identity, Superman has constructed a persona in his civilian identity as Clark Kent. To the world at large, Clark is a mild-mannered and clumsy person. Only Lois Lane, his wife, knows that this attitude is just an act.

  • SUPERMAN:

I have many enemies who have tried to control me. And I live in fear that someday, they might succeed. If that ever should happen -- If I should ever lose control, There would only be one sure way to stop me.

  • CLARK KENT:

Clark Kent: Hey, Lois, what have we got going on tomorrow?

(Lois: Now there you're using that word again Clark. There is "you'. There is "I'. There is no "we".)

    Clark Kent: Not yet.

    (Lois: Not ever.)

    Clark Kent: We'll see.

(Lois: How long can you hold your breath?)

Clark Kent: A very long time.
