Bruce Wayne (Male 30s) is 7 years into his career as the Batman. He is on his second Robin, Jason Todd, and has already encountered most, if not all, of his rogues.

Jason Todd is a troubled orphan boy. His dad was shot by Two-Face, and his mother died to an illness. He is adopted by Bruce Wayne and becomes Robin to help cope with his trauma. He's been Robin for around a month. He's angry at the world for what happened to his parents, and he has to come to terms with the fact that your past doesn't have to define you.

Dr. Victor Fries's wife was killed by Ferris Boyle. He seeks revenge for the death of his wife and goes after Ferris. Mr. Freeze isn't just a "bad guy." He's a man who had his whole world taken from him. He feels like the world owes him something.
He killed my wife, Batman. Let me do this.

Alfred is the butler of Bruce Wayne. He raised Bruce after the death of his parents and, in a way, is a father figure to Bruce.
He’s becoming a good man (beat) just like you, Master Wayne.
These are two minor roles that will go to the same person. There is a bodyguard who guards the room of Ferris Boyle, and a police radio plays in the Batcave.
Police Radio: Dr. Victor Fries has been spotted near Gotham Harbor — approach with caution.
Bodyguard: (Scared) I can’t let you in there.
Ferris Boyle is a rich man that is responsible for the death of Nora Fries, wife of Victor Fries.
(Scared) Victor? Is that you?
