Basilisk Audio Drama Soundalike Needed

Project Overview

Basilisk is an audio-horror drama taking place in an isolated starship at the edge of our galaxy. Inspired by Event Horizon, Dead Space and other sci0fi horror classics, Basilisk frames its story through audiologs and recorded conversations left behind by the various characters to relay their stories to the audience.

Role assigned to: Grey-VA

This character is the head of pharmacolgy aboard the IRS Bucephalus. As her previous actress has regrettably left the project, we're in need of a replacement VA to try to mimic her delivery. It doesn't need to be perfect, but we'll select the best impersonator for the rest of the series. Ms. Rawlins has multiple short monlogues during ACT I onf the storyline, as well as a death scene partway through ACT II.

  • This is Jessica Rawlins, Head of Pharmacology. I just received a message from Chief Warner in the Emergency Response Department.

  • I don’t really know Frost or Matthews who were on the ERT but we’ve spoken before. The other department heads and I met with them once they’d been debriefed by the Captain but they said they aren’t permitted to speak about what happened on that station. I’m not the only one who’s noticed how strange things are getting. I really hope that whatever is going on blows over and we can all go back to normal.

  • They still don’t talk about their outing with anyone but each other, but according to John in the paramedics team they’ve both been performing perfectly. I have to go soon, I have a meeting with Beaumont as well as Engineering Chief Mudende. Hopefully it won’t be too long, I’ve got a date tonight!
