Audiobook Chapter for Original Series
Project Overview
I am writing a book I hope to make into audiobook. It is not finished, but as a writer, I am impatient and weirdly interested in finding the correct voice to fit the character. With this, if possible, I'd like to find the right voice and properly pay him to complete the entire book when finished.
This book is fantasy, action/ adventure, psychological thriller. It's 18+, since there is gore and inappropriate scenes written inside. No uncomfortable sex dialogue.
A short description: A man fights against his multiple personalities to stop them from committing mass murder.
Synopsis: A wanted criminal by the country of Queth, Sync Rotric fights to uncover the truths of his past aggressors. Unbeknownst to him, he's already been killing them all. When he attempts to find out how and why, he must fight against everything he knows about the world. And each day he doesn't, another body is added to the pile.

If I can fill the roles of the first 2 chapters, I'd like to get an audio reading done. In which, if I ask for a full chapter read, I'd pay 15$ to Sync's VA and 5$ to Louis's. I would offer them in the roles, but if I can't find the perfect voice, I don't want to mislead people.

Sync Rotric is the main character with multiple personalities. He's a 19 year old nobleman wanted by the government for suspected murder of his parents.
The first 2 lines are from his aggressive, angry, manipulating serial killing personality.
The 3rd line is from his confused, kind, helpful main personality.
Both voices aren't too high or deep, nor are they rough.
I took my father's vest and held it for a moment. Our only connection.(regretful/sad) He never knew me, but I met him in some form. This was the only memento I could carry on my person. I put it on but waited to button it too. Maybe to keep it for a moment I thought right, I wasn't sure.(thoughtful) But the rag from my mother was something even more special.(building excitement) The trophy I could finally show with pride.(satisfaction) I held back my long hair with it, wearing it just like she used to. Well, kind of.(mocking tone)
He probably wanted to scream so I helped him by adding my own.(Aggressive, excited) “Eeeaaaaahhhh!!! Not!”(Aggressive, thrilled, mocking, out of breath)
“The truth no one else knows.(absentminded)” I twisted the ring into my skin. “I had my life taken.(angry) I've taken life.(disgusted) I want to breathe life – protect it.(slightly frantic) I want to keep my promise. ... I have to.(defeated)” I flickered my eyes over hers, a small smile trailed the creases.
A deep, husky voice. Talks with a lot of authority.
"Rotric, Sync.... famous little bastard everyone won't shat-up ‘bout.(annoyed) Once released, withdraw from the room and follow the right side hallway. Stop at room 'A' with the others. Await further orders. Dismissed.(bored)"
Pierre is an old nobleman who fumbles a lot with his words. He's old, but has a higher voice for a man.
“You-you look well rested.”(afraid, nervous)
“Ah! To what do we o-owe this visit? I can't imagine why the Over--”(nervous, bad acting)
“Yes-- I mean no!”(panicking)
“I was forced into it by Isolde and Trulent! They made me do it, I swear. That girl, the little pauper, he did it. He made them hold her while they dragged you away, ordered for his blade above the hearth. I told him, I did, he shouldn't do it. You wouldn't agree, but he did. You--”(manic, panicking)
[Note: Fier is said Fee-air]
Louis is a younger-looking scientist She has a softer voice. It's definitely not high, but it's not deep. Mostly monotone when speaking, but sometimes she gets hints of laughter or sadness in her voice. Other times, she gets excited over things she's learning about.
“Mmm?(coy) It sounds like someone is just being illogical.(monotone) Look at it.(melodically accented)”
“I haven't seen Fier molded like this before. How did you do it?”(quizzical)
“Now with this one, we'll test the levels of Fier as they're depleted by your body!”(excited)
