Attack on Rapture - Part 1
Project Overview
Heaven and Hell. Columbia and Rapture. Two utopias. One floating high among the clouds, the other swaying in the depths of the sea. Two utopias. One constructed of faith and morals, the other of freedom and sin.
Two different men, with two totally different backstories. With both of them having two different views of the worlds they have been exposed too. One from Rapture, One from Columbia.
Follow the story of Jean Kirschtein, and Eren Jaeger, and how the two of them crosspaths all because of one girl: Mikasa Ackerman. As they endure the hardships of both Utopias. The fates of them, and the others they surround themselves with uncertain.

Marco Bodt is a close, and one of the only friends, of Jean Kirschtein. He and Jean get on well, but after Jean getting once again into debt, Marco mysteriously 'disappeared'. He and Jean havent seen eachother since. Even though he would love to see his friend again.
He has a soft, gentle and kind voice, which is often used to calm down people in extremely anxious situations. His compassionate nature balances out Jeans obnoxious and ‘selfish’ nature, which makes the two of them a good pair. They balance eachother out well.
"[in thought] He is still as stubborn as ever huh?...[soft chuckle] its good to see you again Jean"
"Hey, Armin, you know this place inside out? Then why aren't you the one called Atlas? [chuckles which slowly turns into an awkward chuckle]....sorry...trying to lighten to mood"
"I missed you...You know? its been a long time. But I'm glad you're here...things get pretty...dull down here"

Mikasa Ackerman has been locked up in a tower for as long as she can possibly remember. Her life hasnt been all too thrilling, having Songbird, a mechanical bird to prevent her from leaving, to keep her company. She still remembers her brother Eren, and wants to find him. No matter what it takes.
She has a soft, yet strong deadpanned voice. She seems monotone from time to time, but can get emotional. especially with things that mean alot to her. She also seems to be naturally curious, and get destracted easily by new things...Yet she is extremely focused 99.8% of the time.
"Just a few more weeks, and I’ll be able to see Eren. God, it’s been so long, I wonder what he looks like now... Wait for me, Eren. Wait for me, Da-"
"[disbelief, shock, borderline despair] They...They were watching me the whole time...?... Just..What am I?"
"[shock] E-Eren?....Eren! [near crying] its you! its- its been so long- I- I cant believe your here! your safe! i knew youd be okay- i knew i would find you!!.....wheres Dad?..."

Jean Kirschtein hasn't exactly done well for himself. His drinking and gambling addiction always seemed to get him into debt, and he can never seem to get himself out of it. He seems extremely cold, and angered, and doesnt remember much about what hes done in his past. He also doesnt seem to have that many jobs going for him. Until recently..
Jean has a gruff voice, and doesnt seem to get rid of the arrogant/selfish and obnoxious tone to it. He doesnt really show much emotions besides the negative ones, but when you really get to know him, he's a good man with good intentions....deep down.
“Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt” they say, but I don’t know who the girl is. Hell, I don’t even know who they are. Not that it matters anymore, I guess. I’ve already agreed to do their dirty work, and, well, what other choice do I have?"
"[Shock and voice slowly wavers] W-What the...? Marco?... I.... He-Hey! How are you? uuuuhhh... I uhm... I-I... Y-Your... Jesus Christ... What the fuck happened to you...? You're supposed to be...No...You can't be....You can't be him!!"
"I'm not the one who walked out and left her! YOU are! I'm not an asshole of a brother who only thinks about himself!! how about for once in your fucking life, you take her into consideration. Huh?!?!....ANSWER ME DAMMIT!!!"

Levi Ackerman had been living his life rather rough when younger, due to him being one of the elites to the once well-respected Ackerman mafia family and was also a hitman for them. Being a thug during his teenage years in the rotten parts of the surface, and as a hitman at the beginning of adulthood. Yet, his life had changed when accepted a side-job for a programme, to represent and perform in a circus group for "INSERT OC NAME HERE", who was in charge of the establishment. This side-job allowed him to entertain and know some important figures in the city. This includes being in contact with Grisha Jaeger, Carla Jaeger, and being an inspirational figure to Eren Jaeger. He even has seen Andrew Ryan, himself at a few of his shows. He was eventually made into a Big Daddy after a certain...."Incident" and unlike the other daddies, he is a special kind of 'elite' and can still speak properly. Also due to his small stature and abnormal speed, he is dubbed "Big Brother" instead of the traditional Big Daddy name.
Levi has a smooth tone of voice, is normally very monotone and emotionless. Yet, he does show the negative emotions/tones more.
"Listen, Eren, you're gonna get in trouble if your mother finds out you snuck out for another show...again. I appreciate you comin' but next time I'm gonna have to report you if you don't have a ticket and one of your parents with you. Got it, brat?"
"So...This is it, huh? Can't believe this shit...The Ackerman family were feared. Now I'm in Rapture and it's even worse than the shit I had to put up with up there. We Ackermans were a loyal and respected bunch. Apparently gullible too, fuckin' Fontaine didn't keep his damn word on getting us somwhere in the city. Bastard ditched us when it came time to pay for all the crap we did to get down here and now we can't even touch his filthy ass. Played us like a fuckin' instrument, only to break us, steal whatever shit that still worked, and used the functioning pieces to build an ever fancier one. [sigh] Kenny's pissed...And so I..."
"[sigh] Do I have to explain this again?...I'm called Big Brother instead of Big Daddy because...'differences'...Alright?"

Connie is one of the many people that went to Rapture to escape the horrors of the surface. However, his methods on getting in were “different” to say the least. Connie Springer, born May 2nd 1943, grew up in a prejudiced neighborhood and because he is African American, he faced heavy discrimination from his white neighbors. His family snuck aboard a ship that was going to Rapture and his parents helped with the construction. He was nine when he worked for Fontaine Fisheries and still faced discrimination against whites in Rapture. However, he soon became associated with a little sister and they became best friends. She became his first friend in Rapture… His first white friend and he vows to protect her, no matter the cost. Even if the foreboding events try to break them apart… His care rivals even the greatest bonds of Big Daddies.
Connie has a very upbeat, lighthearted personality and tone to his voice. He often uses humour, in a way to mask the pain he is feeling/has felt in his past. Yet, he can switch into a serious tone in a heart beat.
SIDENOTE: Connie will be using some terminology that some may find offensive due to his background.
"If you think about it, Sasha and I make half an oreo. The ultimate duo in Rapture! (Sasha has a bunch of oreo cookies and eats them) H-Hey! Don't hog'em all to yourself!!"
"[yelling] GET AWAY FROM MY 'BABY GIRL'!!!"
"I remember my Pa taking e out to go get some ice cream in the summer...[chuckles softly] Man... I was always getting picked on by other niggas at school when I was on the surface. However, the first time i got picked on by a cracker was by the fuckin' ice cream man. His ugl ass told this to me and my Pa..."I dont sell shit to niggas"...I didn't understand and when me and my Pa walked off...I asked why he didnt give me my ice cream. He said to me, "Son... There are good negros and bad negos.... And there are good white people and bad white people..." And that girl i made friends with....Is one of those good people"

Isabel Magnolia was given up/abandoned by her parents, and she ended up being taken by Petra Ral, and into the orphanage for girls...Unfortunately she had been turned into a 'monster'....Being turned into a 'Little Sister' to collect the genetic material thats keeps Rapture's wheels turning.
She has a high pitched, childish tone of voice.
"Big brother! Big brother! [giggles] Big Brother!!"
"Look, Big Brother!! More Angels!! [giggles] This way- Follow me-"
"Good girls gather...good girls gather..."

Petra Ral is a doctor, working along side her co-worker and friend Dr Hanji Zoe. The pair of them were personally invited to Rapture by the creator Andrew Ryan himself, believing the pair of them could do vital research in Rapture. Which leads to Hanjis break out in Adam, and her drifting off to work for Fontaine. Petra, however, did not become as engrossed in the discovery as Hanji and refused to be a part of the work, unti lshe was forced by her friend. For people who have played the game, she is very much like Brigid Tenenbaum. In fact, she fills the shoes (replaces to be blunt >,>) for the character.
Petra sounds very mature, sweet and kind when she speaks, and is extremely warm and welcoming to others. Yet, when sufficienly provoked, can become angered. Any accent would work, but a Russian accent is preferred.
"[desperate] Please! Dont hurt her!! There is another way!!! Use this....please...free them from their torment...I'll repay you- somehow-"
"Adam improved every aspect of man but his character...they still don't have the decency to try and save these little girls....I-I didnt want to hurt him....I was forced to do this...."
"Doctor Zoe has been given a special task by Ryan and Fontaine... Two different men, with two different courses to get to the same goal... Both extremely powerful here in Rapture. She's been given the weight of the people and it's starting to take it's toll... [sigh] I hope I can see my old friend's performance when this is all over. Though... It's difficult to say if this burden will end soon"
