Project Overview

Hello everyone,


My name is Keirei (a.k.a. Birblover), and thank you for your interest in auditioning for Aqweous! We will be making covers of the various songs by Aqours.


I will be the group's Chika Takami, but please feel free to audition for any of the other members! When submitting the audition, please have the off vocal playing in the background. Feel free to sing it in a different key from the original if you wish!


We will also be needing mixers and animators, so if you want to help us out (or know someone who does), please message me here on CCC!


FAQ:


1. What is this project for?

This is going to be a project for covering Love Live songs, specifically the Aqours ones. I am looking for men (or women whose voices can reach low enough) who will sing along with us!


2. If you just want to cover songs, why are you asking for spoken lines?

The spoken lines, as of now, are for checking whether you can stay in character - think of it as a tiebreaker for if you and someone else get a similar score in your singing. Also, nothing is set in stone yet so we may end up doing a few dubs on the scenes from the anime.


3. Can I audition for multiple roles?

YES, you can! If you're willing to record and submit lines for two, three, or maybe even eight (excluding Chika ofc), please go ahead and do that! You will be considered for every character audition for - but only those characters!


4. Why do you want the off vocal in the background? Most auditions don't seem to ask for them.

The biggest thing that I am looking for is your pitch control and sense of rhythm - after all, you can sound as close to the original character as possible but if you keep missing notes or coming in too fast or slow, it'll be difficult to properly work with you.

  • Hanamaru Audition Reopened + Mixers Wanted!

    Hi everyone, Birblover here again. First of all, thank you SO much for everyone who has auditioned. It was a great pleasure to listen to all of you and I think I've picked out the best members possible! Now, down to some real business. 1. Unfortunately, Hexoonie, who was our Hanamaru, took far too long to respond after being cast, and we cannot afford to have members take too long a leave like he did, as it would impede the entire group. As a result, he has officially been uncasted. The Hanamaru auditions are reopened, and the deadline has been extended to August 31st. 2. We are still looking for mixers! And very much so! If you happen to know anyone who is willing/available to mix for a medium sized chorus, please let me know in the messages! That will be all for now. Thank you again for your interest and support!
