Description:
for ppl who are really done with off key cover groups

If enough people are interested in this and it actually becomes a group (*gasp*) I am going to post videos on youtube, on my youtube channel, Scylle the Birdie

as you can see, I do a variety of (very weeb) things like piano and vocal covers. So I decided to make my own cover group, because a lot of the ones I found seem to be either almost completely full or has no interest and small possibility of forming.


Rules

1) This is geared towards people who can voice more than one character. You can audition for as many characters as you want, but keep in mind, I may be casting you as more than one character if you're capable. That being said, if I am having trouble picking between two voice actors and one of them already has another role, I will most likely be giving the role in question to the other actor. 

For myself, I have not decided who I will be singing for yet; it will depend on the quality of the auditions. I can say right now though that I won't be singing for Nozomi, Hanayo, or Honk because I know I can't do their voices well. I know that I am able to do Kotori, Rin, and Eli's voices fairly accurately, and for the others (maki, umi, nico) I can manage it but there are better people out there. 

2) Please sing at least one verse+ chorus of a solo or duet song for the character for which you're auditioning, in Japanese. In addition, please sing another LoveLive! song of your choice, in either English or Japanese, whichever one you're more comfortable with. As this group will be covering songs in both English and Japanese, please make sure you have accurate pronunciation in both. 

(ex: for kotori, you can sing one of her solo songs like Spicaterrible OR one of her duet songs like Kokuhaku Biyori, Desu, as long as it's in her voice and it's in Japanese. Then choose any other LoveLive song in either english or Japanese.)

3) With karaoke track or without karaoke track, both are ok, just make sure I can hear you. However, in both instances, PLEASE BE IN TUNE. I take pitch and sound quality very seriously and I consider it more important than character. 

4) Please treat the audition as if you're actually sending in a part for your character. If you want to mix your voice a bit before sending it in (make s sounds less harsh, adjusting volume with soundtrack, etc) that's completely ok, but just make sure your voice is consistent if I do choose you to be part of the group. In other words, don't record with a Blue Yeti mic for your audition and then switch to an iPod 4 when I cast you :)

5) Gender: any and all. You don't have to be a girl. I don't care at all. IK i marked female for the characters but that's just because of range. You can be a tenor with a high range.

 A TL;DR of sorts

* Pitch over character. PLEASE PLEASE SING IN TUNE! 

* If you audition for a role, be prepared to BE that role. If you go for all nine roles, be prepared to sing for all nine roles. 

* I don't care what mic you use as long as you can make it sound good. 

* THE DEADLINE IS SUNDAY, 12/11. MY GOAL IS TO HAVE IT CAST BY THEN, SO WE CAN SING OUR FIRST COVER AND POST IT DURING THE HOLIDAYS. Probably Silent Tonight or Snow Halation.

nozomi's voice is interesting because her character voice and singing voice can be quite different. (she's also a bit off pitch at times...). high pitched but not overly nasally, sweet, a bit unstable in slower songs.

in my opinion her voice is the most developed. sweet. can get nasally in higher registers but also powerful when singing low.

shy and sweet. high pitched like kotori, but whereas kotori's is piercing, hanayo's voice is more quiet.
