Stake Out is a animated comedy/horror short film I'm directing as my student thesis. It follows Ava, a college student who suspects that her classmate is a vampire. However, the truth is a little more complicated than she thinks...
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU AUDITION
The short is about 6 minutes long, so there aren't too many lines. Ava has around 40 lines, and Iris has less than 10. Recordings of the lines will be due in February, and the short will be finished by the beginning of May.
This is an unpaid opportunity. I wish it was paid, but alas, I am a broke college student :(
Please use a good quality microphone. My in-person voice actors are utilizing a professional sound studio for their work, so I'm trying to keep things consistent. You don't need a full-on studio like what we have, though!
You need to be active often on Discord or email. Once you are cast, you will be expected to communicate promptly and complete your recordings by the deadline we set.

The main character. She's a shy and timid freshman in college. She likes manga, but won't tell anyone. In the short, she suspects a classmate of hers is a vampire.

(anxiously thinking to herself) She really IS just like a vampire! She's even trying to block the sunlight out! What if I'm prey? (pause) What am I thinking... this is real life, not some kind of horror story.
Ava's new classmate and friend. Very talkative, bubbly, and feminine.
