I have a project in mind that I think would be a blast to do. It has already been dubbed in English but lets see if we can one-up it
Angel Beats! (エンジェルビーツ! Enjeru Bītsu!?) is a 13-episode Japanese anime television series produced by P.A.Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi. The story was originally conceived byJun Maeda, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music with the group Anant-Garde Eyes, with original character design by Na-Ga; both Maeda and Na-Ga are from the visual novel brand Key, who produced such titles as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. The anime aired in Japan between April 3 and June 26, 2010. An original video animation (OVA) episode was released in December 2010, and a second OVA was released in June 2015. The story takes place in the afterlife and focuses on Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He is enrolled into the afterlife school and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront, an organization she leads which fights against the student council president Angel, a girl with supernatural powers.

This is an unpaid casting call, and like many others... it will be left up to you to decide if it's worth working with us.
I am looking to only dub episode 1 at this time. Depending on how it goes, we will most definitely do the rest.
If you are wondering what kind of quality we are working with, the video is in 720p. It will be rendered and edited in Adobe Premier Pro CC. Audio will be edited in Adobe Audition CC.
Fairly standard requirments for voices are needed here :

UPDATE : Hello! Thank you to all of those who auditioned! We had a long look at all of you and have made some of our final decisions and casted those we like. As per below, there are some roles that have remained opened, we are still looking at the auditions.
A word from the director : For those who have not been casted, please remain as free as possible as we may reach out to you for extra roles or fill in for actors who do not pull through (It happens). For those who have been casted, please do not take this as a "get out of jail free" card, your place in this production must still be earned.

He is a snobbish guy who picks on new people like Otonashi (reason for this is unknown), though as the series progresses he torments Otonashi less and less. He is the one of the most reliable members in the group, along with Noda. Although he displays a tough bravado, he is unable to swim and he drowns very easily. It seems that he is good friends with Ōyama.
Looking for a Medium-High to Low voice, sounding almost surfer-like but don't over do it. Very expressive where he wants to be.
Change up of line 2 as I guess it was harder to picture the situation.
[Surprised] Huh!? Did you think humans are the only ones with souls!?

[Smug / Direct] Dumbass, he fell for his own trap...
Yuzuru Otonashi(音無 結弦,Otonashi Yuzuru) is one of the newest member of the SSS, and a newcomer to the Afterlife. After suffering from an accident during his lifetime[1], he wakes up in the Afterlife without his memories. After discovering the ongoing conflict between a group of students who call themselves the Afterlife Battlefront and a mysterious girl known under the nickname "Angel", he joins the SSS to seek refuge in the group while he tries to recover his memories.
Looking for a Low-Medium to Medium-High voice. Main role. Not looking for much in particular but the voice has to fit the face. (As much as possible)
[Surprised / Confused] Wh.. where am I? My god, I'm alive.

[Angry / Confused] Why are you trying to kill me?!
[Comical / Realized] Jeez, that joke's even less funny now.
[Frustrated / Confused] Isn't there someone I can actually trust around here? Someone with a driver's license at least? A teacher? Wait a minute! [Yell] Where the hell are all the teachers?!
Yusa (遊佐, Yusa) is a member of the SSS who conveys the state of the battlefield to Yuri and acts as Yuri's personal secretary.
In Heaven's Door, she was once a girl who used a pair of scissors to display her intense hatred towards males, responsible for a chain of murders involving the male student population of the Afterlife School. After receiving words of reassurance from Yuri, she joins the SSS as one of its first members after its founding.
Looking for a Medium-Low to High voice, she is a very well mannered person. Not so much like a butler, more so as the secretary. Sound official and very direct like you are running the shots.
[Official / Direct / Calm] This is Yusa. Team Illumination and Team Sound are currently on standby. I believe it's about time. Some fans are starting to gather up.
[Officia / Direct / Calm] All right. Turn them on. (The lights)
Noda (野田, Noda) is a self-reliant young man who executes the strategies formed by the SSS and fights with a halberd. He does not listen to anyone other than Yuri, whom he has adoration for, resulting in him not being afraid of threatening or killing anyone who questions Yurippe's leadership. He quickly developed a one-sided rivalry towards Otonashi for no other reason than his refusal to enlist in the SSS and thus disgracing Yurippe.
Looking for a Low-Medium to Medium High voice, He is overly protective and does not joke around. Try to sound like a protective older brother with a halberd... Really no other way I can explain it; watch the episode to get a feel for vocal range.
[Direct / Angry] You're the jerk that insulted Yurippe (Yur-ip-py)and refused to enlist in the Battlefront!
[Defensive / Frustrated / Challenged] Watch your filthy mouth, punk! That's a direct insult to Yurippe (Yur-ip-py). You take it back!
[Angry / Forcful / Direct] Hold on a minute! [Pause] //Gets knocked out a window// [Yell] Aaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhh!
Kanade Tachibana (立華 かなで, Tachibana Kanade) is one of the students of the Afterlife school and is said school's Student Council President. She is also referred to as Angel by the Afterlife War Front, which is a nickname coined by Hideki Hinata and later used by the group's leader Yuri Nakamura to refer to Kanade after discovering her unusual abilities.
Looking for a High-Low to High-High voice. A very soft spoken person. Quiet but not mono-toned.
[Calm / Assuring] Amnesia is quite common here. People who were hurt in any kind of accident before coming here often hurt their head.
[Calm / Puzzled] Hm? But I'm not any kind of angel.
[Calm] I'm the student body president.
Yuri Nakamura(仲村 ゆり,Nakamura Yuri) is the founder and leader of the Afterlife-based school organization Afterlife War Front. She leads the campaign of a number of students who fight against God, whom they blame for their cruel fates. Yuri is the main female protagonist of Angel Beats.
Looking for a Medium-High to High voice. The big boss of the SSS, she possesses an assertive personality. Be very sure of everything you say.
[Reassuring / Frustrated] I'm on your side...

[Direct / Frustrated / Reassuring] A little trust here, okay?

Matsushita(松下,Matsushita), also known as "Matsushita 5-dan" ("Matsushita the 5th" in the English dub), has a large build and is a master atjudo. He never forgets a debt he owes, especially in food. He carries heavy weapons such as rocket launchers in battle.
Looking for a Low-Medium to Medium-Low voice. Character does speak with a minor stuffed nose (Not necessary) He is your classy strong arm of the gang. Gets very official but has some comedic relief moments.
[Assuring / Comically] You might get reborn as a barnacle. Or maybe even a hermit crab.

[Assuring / Official / Direct] Because members of the distinguished Anti-Barnacle Extinction Battlefront would never threat normal students through sheer numbers or weapons.
Masami Iwasawa (岩沢まさみ/雅美, Masami Iwasawa) is the leader of Girls Dead Monster, an all female band which is a part of the SSS.
One of the toughest roles to fill in for. Iwasawa sings a lot, her style of music is rock n' roll and punk rock. The english version of the song is awkward to do with the music as it was originally composed for the Ramaji Japanese lyrics. Do your best to get them to work, I suggest if you are unable (as I was) you can swap out parts of the english and sing them in the original Japanese. (Majority of the song wanted in English.)
Looking for a Medium to High-Medium voice. As stated above. The singing will be crucial. She talks like Raven from Teen Titans but on a higher pitch and expressive, not mono-toned. I am not looking for the accuracy of the voice, singing is priority.

Hideki Hinata(日向,Hinata Hideki)is the co-founder / co-leader of SSS along with Yuri Nakamura. He is a young man with a bright and dependable personality. Being one of the strongest and most skilled males of the group he often puts himself in situations where he will protect his companions at any cost.
Looking for a Low-Medium to Medium-High voice. Strong yet comical. Interpret that anyway you want.
[Pressured / Rushed] Are you cool with that? Then, let's go!
[Reassuring / Confident] The whole amnesia scenario, eh? Don't worry, it will come back eventually.
[Confident / Pumped] We'll get him no matter what it takes to join our cause, then we will show Angel!
"TK" is a mysterious character who speaks in semi-nonsensical Japanese quoted from pop culture depending on the situation of the scene. He saves the team many times and does know some English but rarely speaks it, and it seems he understands what the others say to him. And he is talented in almost anything (mostly in dancing).
Looking for a Low-High to Medium-High voice. Terribly translated english to Japanese texts (If you know how to speak and write Japanese, please let me know the correct way to say it) Japanese version of the show has T.K. speaking terrible English. So we have him speaking terrible Japanese.
