An Experiment's Power (Gacha Series) - Episode 1
Project Overview
An Experiment's Power is an upcoming Gacha murder-mystery series about 5 teenagers and their robot companion trying to unmask a mass murderer in their town. The series will be released on YouTube, everyone partaking in this project will be credited.
Once everyone has been casted, we can then discuss an agreed amount for the payment. Please note that this project has a deferred payment, and that the series will have to earn profit for you to get paid.
You will need a Discord account and Google Docs to partake in this project. If you are planning on auditioning for a role in this project, please enter your discord username in your submission, so that I can contact you if you get casted!
If you are planning on auditioning to be a voice actor for this project, please make sure to have a good microphone, so that you can voice act without any echoes/background noises!

Devon Beckett is a 15 year old high school student, and one of the main protagonists of the series. Although he's usually seemingly calm, he tends to be quite a cautious and contemplative character at times, to the point where he even manages to get lost in his own thoughts! Devon plays the guitar in a small band, who are planning on performing in the upcoming school talent show. However, it seems as though a new priority has come his way after he decides to try solve a murder mystery, involving the murder of his friend Melanie.
[DISTRACTED, CONFUSED] "Huh?" [SHORT PAUSE] "What is going on?"
[PENSIVE] (I wonder how "The Mystery Murderer" has managed to keep their identity a secret for so long. How long has it been? 10 years?" [SHORT PAUSE] "..Yeah, around 10 years, right?... I really need to find out more about this guy. For Vea's sake. I wonder if the others would be interested in helping out...Wait, what the hell am I thinking?! I can't just ask the others to help me try to find out more about the very same guy that killed our friend!?"
Summer is a 15 year old teenage girl, waiting for her future to unfold. Her hard-working personality, as well as her optimistic mindset, helps inspire and lead her friends through tricky situations that can come their way.
"Selena, don't you think that was a bit much?-"
"I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't, not after what happened...You know, with Melanie. I mean, could you blame her if she chooses no to come today?"
"Well, trying to unmask The Mystery Murderer is dangerous. I mean, if they find out.."
Selena is a 15 year old high school student with a tough childhood. Despite her seemingly strong and confident character, her past never fails to haunt her, leaving the aftermath of her trauma shattered in her personality.
[OFFENDED] "Hey! You don't get to insult me! At least I look good. *You* look like you just rolled out of bed!"
"Oh yeah! My mom got me an "unsolved case file" last week, like one of those fake crimes that you have to try and solve! Octavia and I solved it together! We timed how long it took us too!"
"So the two of you are gonna try unmask a *mass murderer*? A mass murderer that nobody's managed to track down yet, even after ten years?!"
Ethan Zimmerman is a 15 year old high school student with a habit of being excessively sarcastic. He also tends to be quite pessimistic at times. According to Ethan, it's not being "pessimistic", but rather being "realistic".
"Just because I don't spend 5 hours standing in front of a mirror, doesn't mean I don't have style."
"And how long *was* that, exactly?"
"Well sure, you might get rewarded, but that's if the murderer doesn't end up killing you!?"
Octavia is a teenage robot created by Devon and his friends (the protagonists).
"It took us..." [SHORT PAUSE] "..5 hours, 38 minutes and 17 seconds to solve the "unsolved crime case."
Vea Dawson's father.
"Hello, hello! Please, come in! Oh hello, Devon!"
"We're both fine, thank you! And yes, he's home. He's just in the kitchen, trying to "unmask" The Mystery Murderer." [ANNOYED MUTTERING] "He's been sitting there all day, you know.."
Vea Dawson's grandfather.
"Ah, yes. I'm trying to unmask this "mystery murderer". They've sure done a good job at keeping their identity as secret as possible. *Too* good, might I add. Unfortunately for me, they never seem to leave a trace behind, making this very difficult. But it's time we put an end to this injustice. We shouldn't have to constantly live in fear of this murderer coming and attacking us. Somebody's got to put an end to "the Mystery Murderer's" reign over our lives before this whole town is wiped out! It's now or never."
"Anyway.. How's the band, Devon? Are you guys planning on performing anywhere yet?"
Mrs. Burton is a science teacher at Redwood High School.
[ANNOYED] "Boys! This is the last time! Would you *please* keep it down over there?!"+
[SIGHS] "Why can't there just be one day. *ONE* day, where nothing in thiis classroom goes wrong?"
This role will be assigned to the person/people who will animate the main characters (and possibly even backgrounds) of the series.
