Hello everyone!
This is a pilot about a band being formed in a world of industrialized magic! When Sadie (The Bassist) finally gets her hands on a new building to call a studio, she gets to work on setting it up along with her long time friend May (The Drummer). But things don’t go according to plan as they need to find their former band mates. Meanwhile, their friend Rose is helping someone out of a bind and is anxious on if everything is "just right" for his arrival.
This phase of production is getting the voices for each character to be played out in the early animatic. The main cast for this pilot are May, Sadie, Rose, and John. In terms of voice work I have listed the accents I'm after for them, but with the side characters I'm more than okay with people taking creative liberties. So this listing has “Hiring VAs Phase” for this reason. Some characters have very few lines so if you want to voice two characters instead of just one, you are fine to do so. You are also fine with giving two or three takes in the sample lines and choosing your best/favorite takes! When working on the pilot, make sure to submit your lines/takes as .mp3 files.
A main thing to note is that the rates for these roles is per line, which is 4$ per line. The Flat rate listed is total of all the lines with two takes given to each line. When the actors are chosen and given the roles, I'll be coordinating with the main cast first making sure the work is done and everyone is paid, then do the same with the side cast/supporting characters.
Lastly, I do intend to keep going past the pilot, so I'd like to cast people who will be able to stick with this show for a while. Even be able to give actors who did side characters more expansive roles down the line! Help me bring this pilot to life with your voices!

I've got more than enough auditions on John (Like 100+) on John so he's gonna be closed while I review everyone in the unsorted and Shortlist. May do the same with Rose depending on how many have gone in there.
Other than that: Been working on the rough animatic for the VAs and for production. Once that's done I can coordinate with the "chosen" and give them the materials to work with.

So it looks like some of the roles got a lot auditions, so I'm gonna save a particular day to shortlist my shortlist on some of them. I'm starting with Axle and seeing who will get his role before I give the other roles time.
But I also got some of you saved in the "Save for Another" bucket where I like ya audition, but I think you'd be good for another character further down the line or another project I got going on. Which means if ya didn't make it here I will do my best to get back with you for another role I have in mind for ya.
Now I'm going back to sorting through Axel's auditions and then continuing work on the rough animatic. Other roles will stay open, Axel's is just gonna be chosen today so I can get things prepped for the "Chosen one" in terms of contacting and how they wanna work.

Easy going and chill. Is straight forward with how she feels and does her best as the calm one of the duo. Her voice would be deep soothing, calm but with a range of emotions. She is the Drummer of the rag tag band that is being formed.
(Yawn) “Yo! How can I help ya?”
“Keep things simple on the rhythm, you don’t want to overwhelm the audience on the first song.”
“Easy guys! First we need to come up with a name.”

Her personality is more on the active side, as in she's more of a do things first ask questions later kind of person. Which can be a bit of a handle…
In moments of excitement she does say more Spanish phrases more than at her more calm demeanor. (I'm flexible of it being Mexican, Filipino, Hispanic, anything within that range! Just still want it to be bilingual.)
[Excitement] “Haha! Woo! We are on the roll today Amiga!”
[Calming down from rush, slight rasp] “Bien… Though I think we can add a bit of a flare at the end of that one…”
“Wait, you said you’d be here a week from now… How did you end up here to begin with!?
Voice Actor
An anxious friend of the group who still struggles to deal with her worries from time to time. She may end up coming across as jumpy and easy to panic, she still has a heart of gold and cares for her friends and family. Her voice would be low and timid.
“Oh I’m sure it’ll be fine! Not like it had everything ya… worked on…”
“Gah! Where’s the Peanut Butter?!"
[Reassuring] “Look I know it’s a lot to process, but I’m still here for you if you need anything.

An outsider in this world who comes across as shy and secretive. He is an essential character to the pilot's series.
“Oh I don’t mind at all, you don’t have to go through all this trouble.”
“I don’t think you should’ve done that.”
“There’s a lot that you don’t know and we’d be here all day if I explained everything, just take my word for it please…”
Voice Actor
A friend of the duo who is also a mother of three. She is trying to balance her home life as chaotic as it gets. She is a supporting Character.
“Honey, don't shove crayons in your nose like that!”
“Have a great day at school dear!”
“Oh did you two eat anything? Come in! Come in!”
Voice Actor
A friend who is getting into college with a flexible system and schedule.His voice would be partially deep but sounding tired.
“Oh hey there, didn’t expect to see you so soon.”
“I have class in an hour, can you please make this quick?”
“How is it that most of these guys in cafes bring their laptops out and I don’t see them type?"
Voice Actor
A friend who is kept on house arrest.[He has the shortest amount of lines in this pilot. Penny being Second. Best to give the explanation as to why his is the lowest on payment.]
“Uhhh heeey, I don’t think now is a good time to talk "business" in front of a crowd."
“Can’t you see I’m looking at a business opportunity here?”
Voice Actor
A friend of Sadie’s, or at least someone she knows, who shows disinterest in the group as she runs her own freelance gig. Her tone being more of a low and cold person towards the duo.
“You must be mistaken if you think we were friends.”
[Anger] “Oh my GOD! Why do you think I’m doing this!?”
[Cold Laugh] “Haha. Oh, oh that’s rich coming from you…”
