Amberwoods High || Minecraft Roleplay
Project Overview
Rain is an emotional mess. She's been through a lot and after many years of staying home and being free from the "horrors of school," she now is forced to go to high school. Amongst this, everyone is struggling with their own ways and the whole point is; well everyone is struggling. Do not belittle traumas. We all are a bit insane here.
RULES:
1. You must have time for this roleplay. Do not audition if you will constantly be MIA.
2. Have a good MIC if you are a voice actor or extra character.
3. Be respectful to all people here.
4. Be bold. We aren't too fond of working with people who have trouble communicating.
5. Lastly, do not join out of FORCE. Join because you want to help and enjoy helping.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You must be 12 or older. I apologize to any 11-year-olds or younger!
2. MUST HAVE DISCORD! This is KEY.
3. Be easy-going and not stuck up.

Rain; she's an emotionally unstable person. She is kind, considerate, and really generous. She traps herself in and tries to stay out of society. Nobody has really known anything about her and tried but because she is too anti-social and doesn't like to talk too often it's hard. When you DO get her to somewhat talk, she freezes up and is SUPER awkward.
"Uhm, I- I gotta go. I'm sorry." (In a rushing, desperate kind of voice)
"*Laughs a bit* That's funny. Sorry. I'm not a very humorous mood."
(We plan to have Rain good at singing, so PLEASE, be a good singer. We aren't looking for ear rape) Sing a song for 30 seconds to 2 minutes!
Hayden; he's a lot like Rain in his own way. He is closed up, hard to understand, but TRIES to be social. Hayden has anger problems but overall is really friendly. Hayden is a love interest for Rain, later on, Rain and Hayden become really close and that's when love starts developing. ; )
(In a mumbled kind of voice, and said pretty quick)
"Hey, uh, ugh, uh, you- uh, ugh- erm- you. Rain- new- I- ugh- sorry..."(More friendly)
"Hey, would you like to donate to the cause of- oh... YOU! Hey, yu- bye now! *Awkward Laugh* I guess everyone has a place to be right now- right here- in Highschool- in the middle of class- which I have totally forgotten... (Silence) SHOOT!(In a fake happy voice)
"So uh! The weathers nice! Right? I think so at least! Maybe not to you! But I like weather! Well! Your names Rain! So you probably like rain! *awkward laugh* right? - right??"
April; she's a really upbeat person. She's fun-loving and doesn't care about what anybody thinks. She CAN get a bit self-centered and dramatic. April wants to be Rain's friend, but as for Rain, not so much. April is a theatre nerd (I am too buddy) and wants to perform in a play. People say April is "perfect" for this because April REALLY likes to reach all emotions.
(Sad) Hey... what's your name? (Happy) My names April! (Angry) I'm named after the stupid month and I don't know why! (Excited) And that's acting for ya! (Neutral) Sorry. Anyway! My names April, what about you?
(Overly Happy) Sounds like a cool story! Mind repeating it again? I didn't listen. *Snickers*
(Annoyed) Hey! I am the theatre person here! You AREN'T allowed to ACT sad. *hmpf*
Bianca; she's a really emotionally annoying person. She is self-centered, she is angry, she believes SHES right. B is known for having some messed up past but it makes her act badly upon others. People prefer to stay away from her. Rain and Bianca eventually become friends for a bit but Bianca treats Rain wrongly and Rain leaves.
(Angry Tone) "I have a worse life than you! Get over yourself!" *A really aggressive scream*
"Why doesn't anyone understand me nowadays..." (Sad Tone)
"Aww, you must be that new girl Rain! What a cool name. My name should be rain because I always cry. And crying is like rain. So! *Laughs a bit* "
Steve; he's the basic, privileged guy of school. Everyone and no one likes him. He's that player, he's into sports, he wants every girl. It's all or nothing for Steve. Of course, like many jerks, theres a back story. There is HUGE character development and Steve will eventually be a great character.
"You're that new girl, eh?" (Always a pretty unimpressed/flirtatious tone)
"You, me, date tonight?" (Always a pretty unimpressed/flirtatious tone)
"Not much of a talker, huh? You should probably work on that. We ARE in highschool." (Always a pretty unimpressed/flirtatious tone)
Rain's Mom! Rain's mom has been through some tough stuff and wants to be happy, caring, considerate, all in all; a good mom to Rain. She wants the best for her and wants to be there for her, easier said than done. Sometimes, even she can be hurt and at the end of the day, Rain and Lionel (Mom) are hurt together.
"Hey, sweetie. How was sc-"
"Don't push me out! I'm here for you, I was a teenager too!"
(Sigh) "Yes, she's uhm- hiding in again. She won't tell me ANYTHING. It's uh, a lost cause. (Sigh) I hate this."
Basically, these characters are just for us to have fill in people or background!
The point of Extra Characters is to be able to pull off all kinds of tones. Try some of these lines;
"Hey, are you free tonight? If you are- well not anymore." (Flirtatious tone)
"Hey, hey, hey! Want to- (slightly frustrated) alright then.""Gotta hand it to her, she knows what shes doing.." (Impressed)
"It's okay. Everything will be fine. I promise." (Sad)
"*Screams* Get out of my way! I will not EVER (emphasize) deal with your shit! OUT!"
We do a large quantity of editing and work amongst Minecraft. It's really helpful to have someone do the lines, if possible, please audition! MUST HAVE A LOT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS AND BE COMMITTED!
