The God of Artisans and Blacksmiths. Makes a brief appearance in the Wisdom Saga

A peculiar girl who appears in Penacony like a flashbang at the darkest hour of night, identifying herself as a ninja and attributing everything in the world to "ninjutsu."

Shizuku has a kind and mature personality. She worries a lot about disappointing her fans, feeling she must maintain a "perfect" image, but after the event My Color! she begins to show her authentic self on livestreams. While she appears very calm and poised, she does have some quirks, such as putting miso soup in her thermos and being extremely bad with technology. As she grows as an idol, she becomes determined to stay true to herself, not the perfect image she had before.

A rabbit that has horns. He should be a UMA (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) from the Wyoming state of America, but for some reason he is guarding the prison along with Es. Aside from being a guide in MILGRAM, he also instructs Es on how to perform their guard duties. He speaks human language, and has a facetious personality. However, only Es seems to be able to hear his voice.

A female high school prisoner who appears trim and tidy. A pretty young girl who has a gentle, laid-back and whimsical attitude. She's surprisingly good at reading the room, and is able to stop conflicts from breaking out. She has a habit of jokingly asking for money. She's quick to get friendly with people, even in her first meeting with Es.

A talkative, ever-smiling female prisoner who's warm like the sun. She doesn’t play favourites with the people she interacts with, and is very devoted. She is the oldest among the female prisoners. Despite that, she's pure-hearted, always acting cheery even when she's being teased or lied to. Her presence in MILGRAM allows others to feel more relaxed.

Honoka is an optimist who is never afraid to take risks. She is always in a good mood and likes to look at the bright side of things. She is determined and once her mind is set on something, nothing can stop her. This is believed to be the driving force behind μ's formation and success. But because of her persistent personality, she often overexerts herself.

Kotori appears to be a feminine, caring, shy, and cheerful girl. She is known for having her head in the clouds. Despite this, she is μ's designer alongside Nico Yazawa, and is also clever and good at studying, being a honor student. Kotori has a very huge aptitude for fashion and is very good at drawing costumes for the group. Kotori is shown to be very kind and supportive to her friends and genuinely cares about them, especially their feelings: she's easily the most altruistic character in her group, and cares more how others feel than how she does herself. However, this can go too far as Kotori usually backs Honoka up when she (Honoka) is scolded by Umi.

Since she was young, Umi has been Honoka Kosaka and Kotori Minami's childhood friend, thanks to Honoka inviting her to play a game of hide-and-seek. She is also a member of the school's archery club, which she is quite good at. She believes Honoka is bossy and pushy, but also realizes the perks of having an adventurous friend. Among the members of μ's, Umi takes the role of being their physical trainer.

Rin is a first year student who has been friends with Hanayo Koizumi since they were children. She is quite athletic and optimistic. She is very well known for having a huge heart for cats and for acting like them; she tends to utter nya~! (meow), either as a way to end her sentences or to show her happiness. In addition, she sometimes acts like a cat and does the signature curved-mouth look.

Hanayo is a very shy, quiet character who doesn't normally voice her opinions. She is very reserved and will often let other people make decisions for her because of this. Hanayo is also easily scared. However, she has a very passionate side, and her behavior changes when it comes to school idols and anything related, as she is very enthusiastic about them. She doesn't usually state her desires either, so when she wanted to become an idol she didn't say so for a while and needed a push from both Maki and Rin to become one. Despite her timid nature, she is genuinely sweet and kind-hearted, and is considerate towards her friends and their feelings, similar to Kotori Minami.

As the former vice-president of the student council and the eldest member of μ's, Nozomi appears as a pretty wise, mysterious and mature girl with an almost all-knowing vibe to her, due to her tarot reading and fortune-telling skills. She's gentle and kind, as well as rather conspirative, usually being the first person to advise μ's whenever they run into an obstacle or trouble, and will usually remain calm and collected during most situations. This carries on even after joining μ's.

Chika is very energetic, goofy, sociable and has a very strong sense of perseverance. The latter point is especially notable, as it is shown multiple times in the anime, such as when she kept on trying to persuade the school council president, Dia Kurosawa, to let the School Idol Club be approved. Her positive, can-do attitude gradually begins to affect everyone around her as well as the anime progresses. Her energetic and perseverant nature also makes her rather impatient and easy to tease about giving up, only to make her even more perseverant on achieving her goal.

Riko is a reserved, kind, polite and modest girl who likes indoor activities, acting as a foil to her friends, the more energetic Chika and You. She is rather shy, but is nevertheless affable and friendly. However, while she is generally quite levelheaded, calm and mature, she often flies into a panic when under pressure, jumping to conclusions and making mistakes. Because of this, and a previous incident on which she failed to play the piano in front of a live audience, she doesn't think she's special, and doesn't want to become a school idol. However, her friend Chika drags her into it, in the hopes this would inspire her to keep playing the piano.

Yoshiko seems to be a chuunibyou, a person who holds delusions of grandeur. Bright, self-assured, smart, and thoughtful, Yoshiko has a persona who she describes as "Yohane", a "fallen angel" who has angered God and was cast from the heavens to Earth. Apparently, a side effect to being a "fallen angel" is that she is cursed with extremely bad luck, running into all kinds of unforeseen trouble wherever she goes: raining whenever she goes on trips, falling whenever it snows, not winning anything from lucky draws in convenience stores, falling sick right before exams, and so on. Because of this, she often blames herself for Aqours' misfortunes. Through her delusional persona, Yoshiko acts dramatic, cunning, and a little bit devious, and often goes as far as using dark, devilish accessories or clothing to further accentuate her "fallen angel" look as "Yohane". When acting like her, Yoshiko's voice is significantly lower-pitched.

Hanamaru is a hardworking girl who diligently works at her family's temple. She spends a lot of time reading alone and is easily distracted by books. Since she was raised as a temple girl, Hanamaru does not watch television much, nor does she use the internet, making her outdated. Because of this, she is fascinated with modern technology, yelling her catchphrase "Mirai zura!" (未来ずら "It's the future, zura!") when she sees something advanced such as a computer. She was often teased due to this, but was usually defended by her best friend Ruby; however, the first time it happened, Ruby ended up crying, causing Hanamaru to comfort her instead.

Dia is a very refined, polite and mature young woman who speaks in a formal style of Japanese, regarding all of her friends with politeness by referring to each of them as "-san", and usually ending her phrases with "-desu wa." Strict, hardworking, and a bit of a perfectionist, she dislikes it when things are done sloppily or incorrectly, which is part of the reason why she initially rejected Chika's application for a school idol club. She is very meticulous regarding small details, as far as going on tirades regarding the unorthodox reading of certain Kanji.

Breezily mature, Kanan rarely sweats the details and usually maintains a calm, cool and even stoic demeanor. Though she may seem a bit bland at first, she loves sports and nature, claiming that she is happy every day just by being able to see the dazzling sun, the blue skies and the sea. She isn't as talkative as her fellow third years, speaking the least of them in the anime, but is nevertheless friendly and laid-back.

Mari has a cheerful, eccentric and mischievous personality, makes many jokes, and often prefers to work by herself. She always keeps her chin up when faced with hardship so as not to burden others, and is ready to try her hand at anything. However, as a half-foreigner, she does not feel that she is very suited to being a Japanese-style idol.

An ordinary girl with no exceptional talents, Ayumu is seemingly content with just living a normal high school life. But when she and her best friend, Yu Takasaki—or the player in All Stars—stumbled upon a school idol performance for the first time, a new path would suddenly appear in Ayumu's world. Despite not being able to sing or dance, Ayumu would nevertheless venture on to become a school idol herself.

Shizuku is a sweet, polite, level-headed and mature honor student. She is considered a traditional Japanese beauty, and is quite timid at times. Despite her somewhat shy nature, however, she is also friendly and generally cheerful. She's also genuinely selfless and generous, as she offers to all the group to sleep at her home during the trip, and to study together, also helping Kasumi (who has somewhat low grades).

Although slightly self-centered and mischievous, Kasumi is a kind, friendly and lively girl who loves all things cute, and her love for idols is unrivaled in strength and inspiration. Kasumi wants to be number one in any competition she's in, and often resorts to cheating or even sabotage to achieve that goal. As a consequence, she is a sore loser whenever she achieves anything other than first place. In general, Kasumi spends a lot of her time scheming or thinking up new ways to ensure her own victory; however, these plans often fail or aren't as devious as she thinks. However, even with her scheming streak, Kasumi has the capacity to be considerate and kind to her fellow idols.

Rina is not good at conveying emotions on her face. Because of this, she makes use of the "Rina-chan Board", a sketchbook that she draws her emotions on. 

Kanata is known as the group's "sleeping beauty", Kanata has the uncanny ability to somehow calm anybody in her presence. She formerly attended Shinonome Academy and has a younger sister named Haruka. Along with Shizuku Osaka and Emma Verde, Kanata works with the Love Live! School idol festival app. Kanata attends Nijigasaki on a scholarship, so she studies very hard every day, and works part-time at a grocery store. This contributes to her sleep deprivation.

Emma hails from Switzerland, and like the tranquil and majestic landscapes of the Swiss Alps, possesses a heart that is just as gentle and glowing. Coming from a family with eight younger siblings, she would leave her home country to pursue becoming a school idol in Japan, eventually transferring to Nijigasaki High School. She shares a dorm with Karin Asaka, whom she develops a close friendship with.

Karin is very mature and gives off a rather seductive vibe. She uses her adult-like looks to her advantage, such as when she tries to tease her underclassmen. She also teaches others how to be sexy and cool like her. However, these lessons sometimes backfire when people begin to show her significant attention or respond in a pure manner, as Karin will become embarrassed. Despite her teasing attitude, she is rather innocent and has a somewhat naive side to her personality.

Shioriko is described as calm and academically gifted. She values Japanese tradition and has been trained in traditional dance and flower arranging. She has a talent for identifying people's strengths and weaknesses, and uses this to help students at Nijigasaki High School succeed in their club activities by offering advice.

Mia is a very straightforward and competitive girl, to the point of declaring war on the player as a songwriter out of the blue. However, her confidence is a façade and she actually tends to feel insecure about her songs' quality compared to the player's. At some point, she tried to determine why she felt this way despite being convinced that her own songs were better than the player's and went to discuss the other girl's songwriting skills with Rina, who suggested she get closer to the player in order to better understand her.

Since she was a kid, Lanzhu was treated as a gifted girl due to her noticeable talents in many fields. However, this generated insecurity in her as she was always eventually left by others because she was treated as "special" and not as an equal among her peers.

Chisato is very kind, sweet, loyal and supportive towards Kanon - and later all the other group members. Although she describes herself as having a friendly and congenial personality, Chisato admits that others would find her "scary" whenever she gets angry - a thought that rarely crosses her mind. She loves to converse with her friends and go shopping together. Chisato is also very well-attuned to the latest news and rumors traveling within her school, seemingly to the extent that she might one day become Yuigaoka's official gossip girl.

Ren is polite and speaks with a very formal tone, although she is not quite used to handling casual conversations. Having been told as a child to refrain from spending too much time online, she also has difficulty communicating on camera. But considering that Ren is a fairly disciplined individual who manages her time well, she could easily dispense with any form of small talk. Ren believes that she mainly takes after her own mother, given her own unwavering commitment towards making Yuigaoka the number one school in her city.

Sumire who lives with her parents and a little sister has always lived the life of a performer. Having been thrust into show business as a child, she intensely devoted her formative years to the craft of pleasing an audience. She avoided extracurricular activities in an attempt to balance such a life, but after entering Yuigaoka High, Sumire would enthusiastically take on the idea of becoming a school idol. Sumire lives at a shrine and often helps out as a maiden. She enjoys studying Japanese and Japanese history.

A fun-loving and energetic optimist, Keke holds that the most important things in life are passion and a smiling face. To her, anything is possible if one never gives up, such as being a school idol. When dealing with tense or stressful situations, Keke often recalls the pithy advice her mother once gave: if her emotions were to ever run hot, it is best to "cool down" with sweets. Her mother's words being the likely inspiration for her sweet tooth, Keke believes that a scoop of ice cream can do more to wash away grouchy feelings than anything else, and could even bring about reconciliation among bickering friends.

Mei speaks to strangers in a rather abrasive tone and comes off as frightening to other students, but she is actually very shy and has a diehard adoration for school idols that she keeps secret out of fear of being judged. Mei gets embarrassed when she is called "cute".

Shiki is a stoic girl who has difficulty expressing herself. She isn't very fond of loud places. Her favorite things are Mei, stag beetles and butterflies. She appears to have a calm demeanor and is quiet most of the time. She also does not smile much, but the reason why is yet to be determined. She is also very conscious of her surroundings, as she easily noticed Mei looking at her from the Science Club room while she is with the other Liella! members at the rooftop.

Kinako isn't very athletic, and her grades are average. However, Kinako is a hard worker who does not back down easily from challenges. She is very good at understanding animals and how they're feeling. She's very kind, sweet and cheerful, and always happy to offer her support to the group. Despite being sociable, she's also a little shy and awkward at times. She has a tendency to be very loud, and can be easily startled.

Natsumi has a friendly demeanour, but can also be rather manipulative and selfish; she initially gets involved with Liella! to take advantage of their growing popularity to obtain money and internet fame through ad revenue as a social media infuencer. Somewhat similarly to Sumire, Natsumi also spent her childhood trying to break into different fields of entertainment before eventually giving up, albeit with the sole intention of making money. After spending enough time with the group and enjoying a weekend at the Sakurakoji family's cabin in Hokkaido, she took a genuine liking to the charm of school idols.

Margarete is a cold-blooded, passionate and stoic girl, who can act recklessly or overdramatically when fussy. She is extremely competitive and outright hostile to other idols she sees as threats. Originally signing up as a Love Live! contestant as a solo idol in her final year of middle school, she boldly makes it known that she has no interest in either school idols or Love Live! other than setting out to prove she can easily win the competition by herself.

An energetic girl who has a smile on her face no matter what. She entered the academy with high expectations and the goal of “blossoming”, as her parents heavily restricted her freedom beforehand. Blossoming, according to her, is how others looked while freely enjoying their daily lives. She thought this way of living was beautiful, comparing it to flowers you can't look away from. She thinks that by attaining freedom, she can blossom too.

A handsome honor student who is good at both academics and sports, Kozue is graceful and elegant. Even though she is respected and admired by everyone at Hasunosora, she is never boastful nor complacent. She spares no effort in anything she does. She is bad with technology, but she insists that she's on the way to making it her strong point.

Ginko has always had an interest in school idols, owing to her grandmother being an alumna of the Hasunosora Performing Arts Club. She dreams of becoming a school idol as a way of inheriting this tradition from her grandmother.

Sayaka is awkward, but also a genuine hard worker who doesn't give up when times are tough. Even though her grades are good, but she has trouble when it comes to her personal life. This is because she can be too serious, even giving simple lunchboxes her all. She also can't bring herself to neglect other people, and can unintentionally give help where it isn't wanted. Upon entering Hasunosora, she initially had no desire for friends, likely because of her lack of humor and sometimes clumsy social skills.

She is absent-minded, always in a daze, and talks with a peculiar flair, but an excellent performer when on stage. Because of this, people often call her a genius and consider her difficult to approach. Fans even swarm her performance in the hallways when she has them. However, in reality, she is easily lonely and very friendly, resembling a rather clingy child. Because of this demeanor, the rest of the club has become her caretakers, and she loves them endlessly in return. She has a very difficult time explaining herself, and this affects both her teaching and social skills. Her dancing advice is incomprehensible to anyone but Sayaka Murano, and she has immense trouble conveying her inner thoughts and problems.

Kosuzu was apprehensive to join the School Idol Club and Dollchestra in particular, believing that she wouldn't be good enough to keep up with Tsuzuri Yugiri and Sayaka.

She is self-conscious of her own cuteness, so she spares no effort in order to be seen as cute. This can be seen in her creation of "ハロめぐ/Hello Megu", the unique greeting she's made for herself, along with it's variants (such as "バイめぐ/Bye Megu"). During this greeting, she sticks her right arm out and winks her right eye, making it her signature pose. Her academic performance is poor since she absolutely won't do things she's not interested in, and she doesn't even know that the word "proofs" relates to math. In regards to her favorite subject, she simply says "It's okay to not study because it won't help you in the future".

Hime is a competitive gamer who streams under the screen name "Tsumayoji". She enjoys first-person shooter games in particular and has won several tournaments before. Hime was a fan of Mira-Cra Park! prior to entering Hasunosora.

As a robot, Svarog does not convey emotions nor does he trust humans, believing them to be unpredictable and dangerous. The lone exception is Clara, who he treats as his daughter and protects her in battle. He's highly calculating, ensuring that all of his decisions are the right course of action to protect humanity, despising conflicts such ones that arise from Wildfire and the Vagrants. According to Clara, "preservation" is his responsibility, so he in turn longs for peace and coexistence.

An expert in the biological sciences. She earned Nous' attention with her talent and terrifying perseverance, and began her research on the origin of life in a secret corner of the universe. Because of that, she was invited by Herta to collaborate with Screwllum and Stephen to develop the Simulated Universe.

An existence that can be viewed as the protagonist, or your representation. They woke up with their memories gone, and became the guard of MILGRAM Prison. With no memories about themself, they perform their duty as a guard without doubting their origin, as per Jackalope’s instructions. Es’s role is to decide whether the prisoner’s sins are to be “forgiven” or “not forgiven”. A fickle and beautiful figure, yet their gender is unknown.

A quiet young prisoner who's normally always looking at the ground. At first, he would only respond to Es’s questions with a word or two. But as he starts to open up more through conversation, he slowly starts to become more talkative. When you're able to communicate with him properly, you can see his true personality: a kind and gentle person.

A young, strong-minded prisoner with fierce-looking eyes. Out of everyone in MILGRAM, he is the most impulsive and has a rough temper. He has a strong sense of justice, and will strongly oppose any wrongdoing. When talking to Es, he protested on his own rights, and demanded better living conditions.

A bishoujo prisoner who seems to be cut off from the rest of Japan, and has an air of transparency. She appears to be indecisive but is actually very blunt with her words, and can’t accept being in the unusual situation in MILGRAM. When meeting Es, she appeared very wary. Her seemingly well upbringing suggests that she was likely born into a fortunate family. Either due to this or her high pride, when she runs into conflicts with others, she immediately starts to cry or whine.

A tall male prisoner with gentle expressions. He is considered to be one of the more senior prisoners in MILGRAM, and he is cool-headed and calm, or at least not easily perturbed. When meeting with the prison guard, realising that they were far younger than himself, he seemed to treat them like a child in an attempt to make them feel comfortable. Despite being in an unfamiliar place like MILGRAM, he still wishes for himself to be consented to capital punishment.

An easy-going prisoner who is always making jokes to lighten the mood. Considers himself an old man compared to the other prisoners but is kind to everyone regardless.

In contrast with her age, she is very calm, mature and polite. She is usually seen with a vague smile and hasn’t shown any sign of fear from finding herself in MILGRAM.

Even amidst conflicts with the other prisoners, she sits in a corner, not wanting to be involved. Her words and actions are mature, but on the other side, her strong belief in God shows a childlike pureness

A woman with sharp eyes and a cool personality.

Her physique is like that of a model’s. Among the females in MILGRAM who are mostly laid-back characters, she is a rare case of someone who is logical and rational. She is quick-witted, and speaks up for herself.

Due to her appearance, behaviour and words, she may come off as cold, but her blunt attitude does not bear any ill will. It can be said that she observes MILGRAM Prison even more thoroughly than Es themself, she may be gathering information for exchanges.

Maki comes from a highly reputable and wealthy family marked by doctors and hospital ownership. She is an only child, and thus, the sole heiress to her family's properties and legacy. Because of this, Maki is spoiled and doted on yet not given any long-term freedom to be anything other than a doctor. Maki respects her parents and does not question their expectations despite the immense pressure to live up to their standards and make them proud.

Setsuna has an energetic smile and a distinctive style of performing. She's very friendly, charismatic and naturally people oriented. She is easily excitable and full of energy, and she can be moved emotionally very easily. She lights up whenever she is asked a question about her interests, which include anime, manga, video games, and school idols. While she is a very passionate geek and loves to talk about her otaku hobbies with her friends, due to her status as a serious and hard-working student council president, she feels she has to hide them from her mom. When the latter learns about Setsuna, she is happy with it and cheerfully goes to the concert.
