All Your Games Are Belong To Us

All Your Games Are Belong To Us

Project Overview

Hi there.

I'm Greg Hyduk, and I'm the creator of my fan made series of "All Your Games". It a fan made documentary series that talks about the history of video games and pop cultural icons. It meant to be recreation of "All Your History" series, but my series will have no relation to Machinima. I created a few videos for my series last year. One was a video where I made a huge recap of all the big events in 2015. Another video is where I delved in the creation of Star Wars and a startup developer called Lucasfilm Games.

When I created my first episode for Lucasfilm, I didn't waste any time talking about Star Wars. But I took the liberty to delve into bigger events that changed George Lucas, forever. Major changes included the Space Race and American New Wave. The Space race was a fierce competition of gaining control of space between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. While the American New Wave represent the rise of indie film that offer unique experience for viewers. These films were made with cheaper equipment without major addition funds from major studio from the likes of Universal Studio or Warner Brothers. These films gained a huge sweeping in theater were Easy Rider, American Graffiti, and The Godfather part II.

In addition, I talk about Lucas’ development of his epic space fantasy. It turns out that his space fantasy film had become; a legend. From the original 1977 release to the recent 2015 film: The Force Awaken. The proof can be found based on the world record.

In my last episode, I told a little startup company, called Lucasfilm Games (also known as Lucasart). These were the finest developers who were part of the Lucasfilm Computer Division group. They push the boundary in gaming with their first 'throw-away' games. These games were not license titles based on Star Wars or Indiana Jones. BallBlazer and Rescue of Faractus! were among the first games made for the Atari 8-Bit Home computer. They would later be the pioneer of the Adventure genre from Maniac Mansion to Monkey Island.

It should give you a good idea on what to expect. To be fair, I don't want to spend the rest of the two episodes talking about the movie industry. In order to illustrate the development of Star Wars, it would make sense to talk about the movie industry. But I can assure you in the 4th episode, I will talk about the adventure genre. A genre that was once dead, but it ends up being a niche product.

Just to give you an idea on the real proper narration. I'll give you a sample to listen:

  • A quick reminder

I would like to take a moment to say thank you for the auditions. Unfortanetly, I still have a lot of work that need to be done in my end. To be clear, I don't work at a company. I'm currently busy with my acedemic courses. It not going to be a smooth path in my end. Please bear with me as I get my assignments done.

    Thanks

    Greg Hyduk

Project Roles: Narrator

The important role for my series is I need someone to be the narrator. I'm looking for new voice over who are willing to provide a unique voice over. It really unesseary to have the narrator sound like were watching Children show or a cartoon. I only want to have the narrator to be passion on my series, engage with the audience, and offer me a propor narration.

You need to have a good mic and no background noise.

  • Habitat was a massively multiplayer online game that can only be played via the proprietary Quantum Link for the Commodore 64.

  • Ballblazer is a one-on-one sport-style game.

  • Although Darth Vader was never meant to be the antagonist of the series, he was latter chosen to be in Lucas’s second draft.
