The main character of the series. He tends to be charming, funny, mildly annoying, intense, understanding, sarcastic and insane at times as he believes that the Yokai don't need to be slain to create peace between humans and the spirit world as he is the leader of his team called "Team Hirose" as it is a Rank B team and the best ones there is.

[Understanding] "Hey, look... I used to be the worst in my classes, so I get where you're coming from."
[Hopeful] "Wait, wait, wait... is that what I think it is?! FOOD! Yes! I was getting hungry and angry at the same time, let's get some grub everyone!"

A main character and the second in command beside Alex as she is the main crush for Alex and his constantly growing team of humans and Yo-kai.

[Playfully Teasing] "Oh come on, Alex. Don't act so rough on them, they're trying their best. Need I remind you that we were rookies too a few years ago?"
[Somber] "Ugh... this stinks... we chase a Human Faced Dog and this is what we end up in? A trap of a pothole..."
[Angry] "OH YEAH?! AND WHAT IF THAT WAS THE PLAN, HUH?!"

A funny yet witty team member of Team B as he is a unique main character as he has his moments but tends to leap first before looking as he is a tough son of a gun to kill as no one is able to put him out at all yet.

[Annoyed] "Ugh! Fine. I'll follow Izumi's lead, but don't think I will enjoy following her orders."
[Strategizing] "Hmm... Yeah, yeah, YEAH! That can work!"
Voice Actor
The main antagonist of the series as he is the creator who made the Yo-Kai in the first place and is influencing them to do bad and evil things as he can switch between his youthful form [Prince-X] and his true form [All-Father] as he is immensely powerful and hard to defeat.

[Amused in Prince-X form] "Oh ho ho ho ho ho! Isn't this just delicious? The boy and his team are here to try to stop me when they aren't strong enough yet."
[Bored in All-Father form] "(blows a raspberry) Oh come on, you're starting to bore me with these trivial longevities."
[Annoyed] "Grrr... You think you have the very gall to sass-mouth me, boy?!"

A Team B team member as he is the brains of the team who knows when to talk and when to fight as he wields dual spiritual revolvers as he creates the bullets from his mouth just for his guns only as he is also an amazing inventor.

[Contemplating] "Hmm... How do we stop this one, Alex? We need to do something or we let this Yo-Kai destroy Spirit Saber City."
[Proud] "I know, I know. I rule with my inventions."
Voice Actor
She is the boss of the Yo-Kai Hunter organizations and it's worldwide branches as her son is part of Team B as she gives strict yet understandable orders for all of her teams.

[Annoyed] "Ugh... someone get me my shadow hazelnut coffee ASAP...'
[Intrigued] "Ah, Vincent. Just the cobra I wanted to see. How are your inventions coming along?'
Voice Actor
The son of Chief Saber and the spy swordsman of Team B. He is constantly hiding in the shadows and has his mother's attitude but also carries his own human-like kindness as he dual wields two shadow kitanas as his weapons.

[Gentle and Comforting] "Hey little Kitsune... don't worry, you're safe now. You're okay with us now."
[Protective] "Oh, so you think that because that you're better than me and my team that you can just hurt an innocent young Yo-Kai?! NO! I'll have my mother look at my notes and see what you've been up to and disregarding our motto and our mission."
