Project Overview

Moumantai Productions is an experienced fandubbing group with over 15 years of fandubbing and voice-acting experience.

Rest assured, that this project will be completed, as I run a very tight schedule and recasting policy. With the experience that we've gained over the last 15 years, this project will both look and sound like the real deal!

These various clip projects we will be producing are for our enjoyment, to keep us sharp and producing top-quality product and to provide our talent with some immediate gratification while they wait on our larger projects. :)

Please note that we will be doing additional clips of this series throughout our other projects. If there's a character you don't see up for audition right now, you can expect to see them later on. :)

General Information:

This project will be run very strictly, so please understand that I do not tolerate VAs being late with their lines. I have, and will recast those that fall behind, so that the project at hand may be completed in a timely manner. If you think there is a chance that you cannot commit to a deadline, it might be best to not audition.

Recording Quality And Naming Structure For Audition Lines:
-High Quality 44100khz 16-bit 320kbps MP3
-Clean and free of background noise etc.
-Name files similar to: CharacterName_Line#.mp3

Ran is Ichigo and Aoi's classmate. She has secretly been keeping a close eye on Ichigo and Aoi, believing that they won't be able to be friends forever and will one day go against each other. She became a bit of a loner after her friend and former roommate Mako dropped out of Starlight Academy, but soon became close friends with Ichigo and Aoi. She is nicknamed "The Beautiful Blade".

Aoi is Ichigo's best friend who knows a lot about idols, to the point where she's known as the "Idol Professor". They've known each other since childhood and attended the same local junior high school before they entered Starlight Academy and shared the same dormitory room. A cool idol, Aoi's theme color is blue and her favorite brand is Futuring Girl, and her aura is composed of blue stars and snowflakes. In Episode 40, purple and green stars are added to her aura.

  • Look there! You can figure out the fare by reading the table up there. This type of bus is actually more common nationwide than the ones we're used to in the city.

  • I agree! This kind of scenery really resonates in the hearts of us Japanese.

  • I brought us some mini-tarts for the picnic! This one is cream cheese, this here is classic chocolate, and this last one's the seasonal fruit tart.

The cheerful, hard-working protagonist of the anime storyline for the first two seasons. She's a first year student in Starlight Academy's junior high branch, and later moves up to second year in Episode 26, and third year in Episode 51. In Episode 74, she graduates from Starlight Academy's junior high branch, and enters the high school branch in Episode 76. Ichigo's original dream was to inherit her mother's bento takeaway shop. One day, a concert of top idol Mizuki Kanzaki left a big impression on her, and with her mother's encouragement, Ichigo began to follow her own dreams of being an idol.

  • Huh? Where's the souvenir shop? I was planning on getting some gifts for everyone back home."

  • It's been so long since I've ridden a public bus like this! (giggle)

  • (relaxed) It feels like the scenery and surroundings here are so relaxing...it'd be kinda nice to live in an easy-going place like this someday.
