Project Overview
Afterform is an emotive narrative animation short that blends elements of psychological drama, soothing emotional storytelling, and surreal fable. It explores themes of quiet loss and memory’s lingering presence through visual metaphors in light, shadow, and subtle character dynamics, offering viewers a gentle and reflective emotional space.
This film is being created as a student graduation project. Our goal is to craft a beautiful, festival-ready short film that serves as a culmination of my studies. I'm incredibly grateful for any collaboration and support.

She is a self-reliant and perceptive hobby farmer in her early thirties. Her physical strength is matched by a quiet wisdom and a grounded perspective on life, death, and the cycles of nature, which she runs her small farm by. While her incredibly intelligent Kelpie is the protagonist driving the story's action, Maeve delivers the film's most crucial lines of dialogue. Her words are few but profound, serving to reveal the core truth and thematic heart of the entire short film.
