"This tale takes place 468 years after a disastrous apocalyptic catastrophe. A girl in the slums longs to see the surface world for herself, despite multiple others telling her again and again that the surface is no more, a now desolate place after the apocalypse years ago. She travels through the city to the center, finding new unlikely friends along the way."

Aetherbound: Echelon is a heavily steampunk themed series, with a bit of cyberpunk in the cracks. It takes place in an underground city, where power and fame rules and dictate, and finding people who'd fight back is as easy as finding a pin in a haystack. This story follows a young lassie named Vera, who longs to see the surface, to prove to everyone that it isn't dead like they think, but to also find her father, who left many years ago to prove the exact same thing.
