Project Overview
The year is 2124, and rampant consumerism dried the earth of all natural resources. A massive effort was put into the space program in a desperate attempt to find a way to save their planet. Earth was mined for ores and fossil fuels, entire environments were destroyed for wood and organic materials, and ecological damage was growing worse by the day. Significant overpopulation of humans and a rampant consumerist culture made people want more of everything, and after the second industrial revolution, where automation, robotics, and AI took over most production, the economy collapsed. Anarchy set in as most of humanity starved and burnt under the ever-more deadly sun, and the remaining governmental bodies collectively started to make massive investments in space flight programs.
Europa This is a planet where multiple technologically advanced civilizations co-exist under a shared government. The overarching government is a very structured hierarchy. Global political system is a feudalistic system composed of scientists with practically godlike power and influence, and has control over the entire solar system.

She is now targeted by the Collective, as "Nobody takes from the Collective," and Walter is very hurt by this betrayal.

One of the oldest members of the Resistance, Wade has been a fighter since he was young, when he joined a mercenary group. He never received formal military training, but moved from group to group, fighting only against the Collective to avenge his wife and children, who were drowned as part of an extermination campaign.

He grew up to see The Collective's hostile takeover. He went on to study philosophy and politics at a very young age, and took a local position within his local government. After a promotion to a regional position, he began interacting with more civilians as well as people from The Collective, seeing the people's needs being brushed aside for power and money. He decided that the only way for him to make a difference was to work with John Roe, who was trying to help people in need. After the Collective found out about this, He was nearly assassinated by the collective, after which John helped him escape and survive. Erik then officially joined the Rogues.

He grew up to see the collective's hostile takeover and his father fought and died in the war against the collective. His mother was a nurse and was executed after the war when John was young. He was then raised and indoctrinated by the collective and went on to work in their military. After facing active duty and seeing the corruption of the Collective firsthand, he defected and formed one of the largest resistance groups in the world, called the Rogues.

Second in command to Gellert in The Collective. A brilliant scientist and philosopher, he was chosen as the second-in-command of the Collective and has abandoned most of his morals due to corruption from his incredible power and influence.

He is the leader of the Collective. He was an old friend of Jackie and Steven Welles, and was sent as the leader of a colonization ship that got lost while doing a slingshot maneuver off a black hole. He founded the Collective and established the first major civilization of Europa, and has had to completely replace his organic body due to age.
