Abstraction [A Slenderverse Series]

Project Overview

Following a college student who's passion for her comic leads her into a rabbit hole spiraling around one notorious, faceless entity, Abstraction is a multiplatform ARG that spans over the course of one YouTube channel, three social media accounts, and an ongoing (and actively deteriorating) comic.

As I'll be working on my own to write, film, and produce this project, most roles will be minor, but rest assured every single voice has an active role in this story. This page will stay active and updated as I come across any other characters I need, so the "deadline" will primarily adhere to whatever roles are currently open.

In order to commit to the immersion of this project, roles will not be credited on main posts, but as videos involving anyone casted are released, I will be making accompanying posts on my own account to credit anyone involved.

Due to the tone and nature of this series, all roles will be cast 16+ unless specified otherwise.

  • 12/11 Update: On Hold

    Hey yall ! I wanted to hop in and update because I've been admittedly wildly absent with this project.

    I am still intending to start production, just in the new year. Unfortunately with the holidays, traveling, and two jobs taking 50-60 hours a week, working on even just scripting has been difficult, so Abstraction will likely be on a production hold until January 2025.

    The audition deadline will move back as well, as I'm still working through auditions for characters, and those who've already been casted, I'll reach out once I'm back in town next week about new scheduling for scripts.

The Father is a loud, brash, antagonistic character. He's an exorcist a few towns over from where Abi and her family grew up. When her parents realized their child was seeing a strange figure, they took her to be exorcised, hoping to be rid of the entity sooner rather than later.


As of right now, this role has one major "scene," an audio recording of the exorcism. Due to the nature of this sequence, this role requires more intensive reads, so feel free to climb into a full yell if you see it fit. Depending on casting, this role will either be English only or English and Latin.

At this point in the story, Abigail is a young girl, confused about the faceless entity watching her. After turning to her parents for help, they seek the assistance of an exorcist to "cleanse" their daughter of whatever's been following her.


The first appearance of this voice is during the exorcism (think classic Reagan from The Exorcist), so visceral growling, choking, laughing, crying, and/or mumbling ad libs are encouraged.
