Absolute Batman Issue 1 Dub

Project Overview

This project will be an unpaid fandub of the first issue of the breakout story Absolute Batman. While I'd like to one day do the rest of the Black Mask arc, for now we are operating under the assumption that this is a one off project.

Please be okay with live direction from myself during recording sessions should you be selected for a role. As such, please also have a Discord and please link it in your audition.

The video above is to show an example of my previous work, as well as showcase how the comic will be edited/presented once finished.

  • Status Update 02/01/26

    Hey all! Sorry for the radio silence regarding this project. Life got real busy real fast, which impeded my ability to really do anything project related.

    I know some of you have reached out to me on discord, to which I both appreciate you checking up on me and apologize for my sporadic responses.

    That being said, I will be resuming work on my previous projects — including this one. Casting will be decided and released by tomorrow, so please be on the look out for that.

    I sincerely apologize for making everyone wait this long, and I can’t wait to listen to everyone’s auditions!

  • DEADLINE EXTENSION

    The deadline for voice submissions has been extended to OCTOBER 8TH. Assume that there will be no further extensions, so if you would like to audition or reaudition, now is your chance.

Batman needs no introduction. He's stoic, grim, but above all else compassionate and dedicated. Despite the nature of the Absolute universe, we're going for a more down to Earth Batman/Bruce in terms of performance. (Side note - accent should be VERY light.)

The single mother to Bruce Wayne, Martha is a social worker who does what she can to better Gotham whilst also supporting her son. She lives a modest lifestyle within Old Gotham -- having grown up on the streets of Gotham rather than in high society.

Daughter of Mayor Jim Gordon, Barbara serves Gotham as a police officer like her father before her. She is caught up in a surprise attack by the Party Animals whilst acting as security at a town meeting.
