About the Project
A New Friend is a Kingdom Hearts comic dub using the Data Greeting feature from Kingdom Hearts III. The comic was written by Janelle (JanStarRattler on twitter) and I am dubbing it on my youtube channel Mochabites.
The 1st Episode was just released on November 29, 2022. You can check it out in the video above to get an idea of what this project is like.
Story: Taking place during Roxas’s time in Organization XIII, A New Friend is about a nice shadow heartless that follows Roxas home and then he ends up keeping it as a pet. However, it seems that there is more to this sweet shadow than expected.
What I'm Looking For:
I am looking for someone to voice Xemnas for Episode 2.
I focus more on acting in my fandubs. I don't expect you to voice match Paul St. Peter (Xemnas's original VA). Keep in mind Xemas's personality in Kingdom Hearts and you're good!
For now, this is the only role I am looking for. In the future I will have more roles to fill so feel free to keep on eye on this project!
I prefer fans of Kingdom Hearts to audition so that you already have knowledge of the series and a feel for it.
Recording Details:
I don't expect too much as far as equipment goes. I just prefer either USB or XLR microphones since it's easier to work with. No headsets, phone mics, etc.
Since this is a fan project, it is unpaid. We do this for fun and to practice our voice acting skills. Also because I love to edit videos. lol
Deadline: January 15, 2023 11:59 PM US Eastern Time
We're all busy for the holiday season so I am letting the casting call run for over a full month. I may extend it if necessary.
I will not cast before the deadline! I believe in giving anyone a chance to try out. A deadline is a promise that keep until the day it ends.
