Shinohara Emiko is one of the most enigmatic and feared leaders of the Nongitsune clan, boasting nine tails in her full kitsune form—a mark of immense age and power. Estimated to be around 900 years old in kitsune years, Emiko embodies both timeless elegance and terrifying control.
Her most infamous ability is tied to her hypnotic, spiral-patterned eyes. With just a glance, Emiko can slip into a person’s mind and twist their thoughts, planting false memories, erasing truths, or turning them into obedient shells. However, her power comes with a critical flaw: when Emiko sleeps, the spell fractures. Those under her influence begin to experience echoes of their true selves, leading to confusion, resistance—or rebellion.
Unlike other clan elders, Emiko does not bury herself in formal duties or strict decorum. She carries her authority with a smirk, often dismissing traditional responsibilities in favor of chaos and games. She’s stern when needed, but her true amusement lies in watching others unravel. There’s a cruel joy in how she pits people against each other, especially when she can blame it on fate or free will.
Some whisper that Emiko enjoys suffering not because she’s heartless, but because she’s curious—interested in the raw, messy nature of emotion she’s long outgrown. Others say she’s simply cruel for the sake of it. Either way, no one dares look her in the eyes for too long… and those who do often forget why they came in the first place.

“fucking hell… again?! Fine…one more time for your deranged ass” ((annoyed as hell))
"Let me guess—you got your ass kicked." ((Laughing slightly while speaking))
"Right, right… Hayashi. Fine, you’ll keep watch over him at night. Make sure he falls asleep. Make sure he doesn’t run." ((Stern))
Leo (he/they) is a Kitsune, just like Hayashi, but the similarities between them end there. At 24 years old—younger than Hayashi—Leo was once his closest friend, bonded by childhood experiences and the unique struggles of being supernatural in a human-dominated world. While Hayashi’s parents attempted to blend into human society, Leo’s family remained in the wilderness, embracing their Kitsune heritage. Because of this, Hayashi often sought refuge at Leo’s home whenever he was kicked out or had nowhere else to go.
As children, their relationship was warm, evolving into a seemingly romantic one as they grew older. It was affectionate in appearance, yet underneath the surface, it was anything but healthy. Their relationship wasn’t built on physical intimacy but on companionship—at least, that’s what Hayashi believed. However, even before Hayashi fully realized that he no longer wanted to be with Leo, the relationship had already been corroding. Leo was manipulative, emotionally & physically abusive, and controlling, though he disguised his cruelty as affection. Being young and naïve, Hayashi fell for it, believing the lies Leo wove around him. Eventually, their connection shattered entirely. Every conversation turned into a heated argument, each interaction ending with one of them hurt. What was once a safe haven became a battlefield, and by the time Hayashi fully understood what had happened, it was far too late to mend anything.
Leo, in truth, has always been a cruel, sadistic, and domineering figure. He lacks empathy, is bluntly disrespectful, and disregards the boundaries of others without a second thought. He holds a strict ideology when it comes to Kitsune and their role in the world—one he expects Hayashi to follow. He despises the idea of forging relationships with humans, seeing them as nothing more than fleeting, disposable creatures. His disdain is summed up perfectly in his own words:
"Obsessed? Don’t flatter yourself, dumbass. I’m here because I was assigned to make sure you don’t cause any trouble. Remember that little thing called orders? Your only job is to kill, not play house with a human."
To Leo, Hayashi is and always will be a monster, a weapon meant to take lives, not forge bonds. The idea of his former friend straying from that path is something he refuses to tolerate.
Unlike Hayashi, who is immortal, Leo is mortal, a fact that inevitably catches up to him. Later in the story, he suffers a near-fatal burning, an event that leaves him scarred and forces him to undergo a transformation—one that turns him into something partially robotic. His new form is accompanied by a distorted, glitching voice, reminiscent of Chaos Sonic from Sonic Prime, making him sound fractured because of the voice box implanted into his throat, as if he exists between two states: half conscious and something else entirely.
Leo is not just a character; he is deeply symbolic, inspired by a real-life person with significant meaning behind his creation. He represents a past that Hayashi can never quite escape, a lingering shadow that constantly reminds him of where he came from—and what he could become if he isn't careful.

"Trust me, this wasn’t my idea either." ((Infuriated but semi calm tone))
“Oh come on Zan’ei…just this one little thing for me. Please?” ((Manipulating, passive aggressive))
You’re welcome to audition regardless of your gender or voice type! This is a great opportunity to showcase your vocal range and versatility. There’s a high chance of being selected for this role, as I’ll be casting multiple people to bring this character to life in different ways!
(Also i wanted to add a fourth line but sadly I can’t so, its optional to do improv gossiping/backround convos etc!!)

“Just shut up already! You talk way too much! It’s as simple as killing the guy, i don’t need all this blabbering when i already have a headache” ((annoyed asf))
“Did you hear about Nikolai’s new boyfriend?” ((Gossiping))
“Hey! Move! Get out the fucking way!” ((Just bumped into someone))
Peru Zan’ei Karakuri. Oh, what a beautiful calamity you are.
To the members of the Nongitsune clan, Zan’ei is less a kitsune and more a question—one that no one dares answer. Always smiling, unnervingly so, as if he’s been stitched that way. No one has ever seen him frown. Or maybe they have—and simply forgot. That's how the mind works around him: foggy, unsure, rewound.
Born with Nogitsune blood while his twin sister carried the blood of the Zeneko, they were separated the moment they could breathe. Yet fate, ever cruel and ironic, tethered them together: if one falls, so does the other. They are a mirror split in half—Zan’ei the manic storm, and his sister the still abyss of despair.
He speaks in riddles, giggles in silence, and dances when there is no music. Most in the clan whisper that he’s “not all there,” but perhaps he’s simply seeing things no one else can. A little too much joy in the wrong places. A little too calm in the face of death.
In his human form, he hides the medium-sized wings sprouting from his back beneath a white cape—one he only wears because Emilio demanded it. Left to his own devices, Zan’ei wouldn’t hide anything. Why should he? Secrets are funnier when you dangle them in plain sight.
People call him a clown. A killer. A lunatic. But there’s more to Zan’ei, always more—just out of reach, behind that grin and those eyes that never stop watching. Whether he’s truly out of it or simply playing a role, no one knows.
And that’s the most dangerous part.

I picture Zan’ei to sound like Shadow milk cookie from CRK
“I was only doing what I was told to! *giggle*”
“Perfect shot am I right? Nearly hit you while I was at it!!”
“Ohhh Kazukiiiii~ whacha doin?” ((Sing song sort of tone))
