sting is for the first short test for the work in progress show A Dreamer's Tales by Sunlocke
A Dreamer's Tales, a fully 2D-animated series project, follows a prince by the name of Apollo Render who really does not wish to succeed his father, and he definitely makes that clear enough. His whole life, all anybody's ever seen him as was the heir to the Alcedan throne, and that's all he's ever known. He wants to find himself, he wants a purpose. He doesn't just want to be known as another king among the many rulers in the history of the Herethien Kingdoms. However, he doesn't have much of a choice. Not yet. It isn't until he makes some new friends on an expedition where he discovers exactly the purpose he's been searching for.
This listed project is exclusively for the first short test episode, which should fall at about 3-4 minutes or so when completed, featuring Apollo Render, Delilah Cooper, and a character by the name of Rush.
A Dreamer's Tales was originally a book series that I, Poet, began writing in 2021. Over the years, the story has grown far too complex for me to have the motivation to write it, so I decided hey, people give me motivation. So, let's try something involving more people? The story is extremely important and personal to me, it really does mean the world to me. I'm open to give more information to anyone curious!
Voice Actor
Apollo is the main character in A Dreamer's Tales. He's 17 years old, and the crown prince of the mighty kingdom of Alcedan. He's naive, he's determined, and he follows his heart. He's curious, kind, and he never hesitates to fight for what he believes is right. He might be just a little bit grumpy though from time to time, a little sarcastic.

I need a recording of anyone here auditioning for this role singing You Are My Sunshine, Rockabye Baby, or Hush, Little Baby. Apollo's voice range is to be baritone-tenor
"Wait. We don’t know why it's freaking out, we should be more—DELILAH!" This line is to be said a little bit freaked out, worried
"That...did not go as I expected. Come on, I want to get this little guy checked out by the vet—make sure he’s okay and all." This line is said out of breath, somewhat awkwardly
Voice Actor
Rush is a little creature known as a Ghamorra. Ghamorrai are armless, half blind little creatures who heavily rely on sound. Ghamorrai don't speak, meaning if you're auditioning for this role, I expect weird, inhuman and animalistic noises, maybe reminiscent to Toothless from HTTYD or the Demogorgons from Stranger Things. I'm looking for a range to pick from, somewhere in those two things.
