A Breathing Abyss Remake - Skyrim Mod
Project Overview
This project is a quest mod for Skyrim and originally stems from the mod, Breathing Abyss:

This new iteration/remake seeks to improve upon the flaws apparent within the original piece of work and create more engaging lore for the player to delve into.
For those of you unaware of the original mod or its concept, the basic premise is the player character will be aiding Manias, a researcher, in his studies on a mysterious entity beneath the waters of Winterhold. Throughout the quest, the player will be delving into the Creature's lair and retrieving artefacts and samples allowing Manias to uncover more of the being's origins.

Manias in this iteration of the quest is a mature and seasoned Redguard, a researcher of the peculiar and abnormal which should be reflected in his voice. I'd prefer a much deeper and guttural inflection, similar to Straid from Dark Souls 2. A link can be found here:

The overall tone is very circumstantial, near the beginning of the encounters he is incredibly curious with his word, harboring an excitement for these discoveries. As the story progresses this excitement turns into a near obsession and fear of what he has delved into. The three sample lines represent the beginning, midpoint and end to Manias' story. The tone should be conveyed through the voice lines as best as possible, I hope my tone aids have helped with that.
We have a fascination for the unexplainable, a fact embedded deep within us. It seeks to answer that which cannot.
