Welcome to my CastingCallClub Profile. I am Mya Milton, a 19 year old, African-American female based in Annapolis, Maryland.
I am also a college student who is interested in becoming a voice-over artist. I am open to meeting new people, making connections, and having conversations related to the voice-over industry.
(As a disclaimer, the microphone I use is a RØDE PodMic. Unfortunately, this website does not provide an option to display any other mic aside from the RØDE NT1. I will communicate this to any director that needs clarification.)
Due to my amateur experience with marketing and branding, I do not have any rates for my work at this time.
Why Did I Join CCC?
I joined this website in hopes of building a portfolio for my voice-over artist career. While it is in its novel stage, I am looking forward to making professional connections with directors, artists, and writers from all sorts of backgrounds. With this experience, I hope to share it with my peers, coworkers, and audience; potentially inspiring them to achieve their own goals would also be great. I'm excited to use my knowledge and interactions in a way that contributes back to this talented community!
Main Priorities
Currently, I am open to both paid and unpaid projects. I am looking for projects that are in need of a voice for a character, a narration, or a commercial. No preferred genres at this time; I would like to experiment and see what I am capable of providing to different directors.
Mya Milton's Terms of Services
I am in the works of creating a proper Terms of Services (ToS). In the meantime, here is a general overview of what you can directly expect from me:
- Please do not reach out to me in a casual or unprofessional manner if you are interested in my services. First impressions matter, both in the workforce and everyday life.
- I am not open or willing to work with a director that is a minor (an individual who is below the age of 18; 17 and under). I strive to connect with both experienced and inexperienced directors who are capable of communicating efficiently, managing their project, and handling business matters.
- If there are no written agreements, contracts, NDAs, etc., present, I reserve the right to withdraw myself and my voice from a project. My withdrawal will be communicated to those who need to know of my current position.
- Any kind of advertisement that includes my voice or contact information must be communicated to me before being publicly or privately released. While surprises are nice, understanding consent and keeping your clients informed is a greater gift.
- I am a legal adult who refuses to work on any project that focuses on a sexual premise, has a sexual innuendo, or includes content that is in violation of internationally-accepted laws and statutes.
