About Modern Day Magi

I'm an adult male, mid 30's, English speaking voice actor. I would describe my natural speaking voice as a bit deeper and warmer than general. I'm primarily here for character work, though I've done commercial work in the past, including but not limited to, political advertisements for AM radio, radio commercials, and interviews.

I have my Associates of Applied Science degree in Radio Broadcasting from Brown College, which included classes on voice acting as well as other related areas. I typically work with Adobe Audition and have an xlr setup with a mixer and an isolated quiet space with some sound treatment.

I have a pretty good range, and a number of voices I can reliably evoke when necessary. From a mad villain character to a mysterious merchant. I am confident that can find the voice you're looking for.

I'm able to take criticism, make adjustments, record quickly, and communicate effectively in a timely manor.

I am ALSO a visual artist with a minor in graphic design, who dabbles in writing. For the past couple years I've been developing concept art for my own independent animation project. Keep your eyes peeled for that... it's early days but I intend start the initial round of casting fairly soon.

I attended the University of Wisconson-River Falls between 2012 and 2016. I completed the program and earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in marketing communications with a minor in graphic design.

Associates of Applied Science in Radio broadcasting

I attended brown college at the Mendota Heights campus in Minnesota. I completed the curriculum and recieved my associates of applied science degree in radio broadcasting between 2010 and 2012.

While attending the classes included subjects such as; Sound design, voice acting, web design, writing for radio, as well as the hands on experience of recording in professional sound booths.
