John has worked in professional theatre and TV around the country since graduating the CAP 21 Conservatory in 2017. Before Covid he was located in the greater New York area and was seen appearing in world premiere productions, workshops, HBO, regional theatre, Off-Broadway, tours, and cruises. Some favorite shows and roles include HAIR, Rock of Ages, When We're Gone, West Side Story, Spring Awakening, The Deuce, etc. Now located in New England, John has recently been seen in regional houses (A Man of No Importance, Disaster!, Carousel), indie horror films (Sweet Meats, Gossip Ghouls), new works (Powerhouse Fest), theatre for social change (Last Girl First, Speak About It), and has most recently worked for the Oxygen Network as a principle role for a true crime TV show! He is eager to branch out into more aspects of the industry in both film, TV, and VO.
I attended CAP 21 in the 2 Year Professional Program as well as the half year Practicum/Industry Prep Program from 2014-2017 when it was an independent institution before the studio began working with Molly College. CAP 21 believes in "teaching actors who can sing and dance" and in this way they put heavy emphasis on the craft of acting above all else as storytelling is the gateway for all of these mediums to shine.
The conservatory program was an intensive 55 hours, 6 days per week for 2 years. Weeks were filled with classes ranging from acting/scene study, to voice/speech/dialects, to vocal training, dance training, private coaching, group classes, etc.
