Voice acting is so much fun! It mixes my love of doing voices with my love for acting. I'm just starting in this business, but I already know that this is the job for me.

About TheMajorWatson

My voice is a bit unique. My normal accent isn't anything special. It is mostly General American Accent with a hint of African American Vernacular English. The unique part of my voice is the super low pitch. At around 14 my voice became extremely deep and has been getting lower ever since. I have always loved playing around with the sound of my voice, but when it became deeper, that is when I figured out I wanted to be a voice actor.

I would say that I have good vocal flexibility. I have a good range, but because of how low my median pitch is, I often have trouble hitting higher notes. I can change my resonation accurately and have learned how to do numerous accents over the years.

I make it a point to continue learning new accents and mastering them. There's also my habit of imitating people with a voice that I find interesting. It has gotten to the point where I can do certain voices and accents without even thinking about my voice.

I just started out in this career path so I haven't had a job yet, but I know if I keep working at it, that jobs will come in time. Plus voice acting work doesn't feel like work. Even though I pour a lot of time and effort into it, it feels more like I am just goofing off and having a good time.
