Hello! My name is Rosie and I'm primarily doing voice acting for fun! I've been doing weird voices ever since I was younger and have always been into animated stories. I thought I'd be going into school for it, but now I'm going to school for designing shoes and bags instead. However, cartoons still hold a place in my heart and inspire some of my pieces! Voice acting has always been a thought of mine and I'm happy I'm at a spot to finally start!
Digital Storytelling: Fiction and Nonfiction
Took this class during my associates because I was interested in storytelling. In this class, we focused on auditory storytelling like audiobooks and podcasts. This resulted in me learning how to record on a Zoom Recorder and even how to better the quality if I was recording audio from my phone.
Learned how to sound like a dog, parrot, and monsters such as a orc and goblin. Learned from fellow attendees how to take care of my throat while doing such voices as well.
Nothing specific, whatever you can afford and depending on how big the project is! I'm doing voice acting primarily for fun, so I'm not expecting to earn hella cash.
I'd love to work for an animated series, short film, or game. With my voice range I feel like cutesy or weird characters are what I'd be best at and these types of productions usually include someone that fits that description. I'm not looking to be the best voice actor that ever lived, but I always found the idea fun and I'm becoming more passionate about voices that I'm testing out for these characters. I came onto this platform because I usually found opportunities via Instagram, but I would find them a day after things were due sadly.
