About polyniki

Hey, welcome to my profile! My name is Polyniki Varakli, and I am a middle-age female Greek native speaker with fluent English and German language skills. I have taken one on one speakage and voice acting lessons and have been offering voice over services in English and Greek for a while now - IVR, explainer videos, radio spots, including dubbing a series of Playmobil youtube videos for kids from German to Greek myself (just a link to the German video given).



I worked for over a decade in Germany as a product manager for PC games and software. I have professional experience in production, localisation, distribution and marketing of software products. I now offer these services, as well as translations of PC games and marketing texts from English and German to Greek, as a freelancer. I have attended several extensive Greek language seminars in proofreading, subtitling and creative writing.



My passion for language and artistic expression has led me to voice overs and voice acting. I love this job because it lets me contribute to projects as an artist. I love lending my voice to tell a story - whether it is a corporate video explaining a new banking service, or the story of an ogre NPC who needs help retrieving some stolen artifacts in a roleplaying game. 


I have my own recording studio at home and would be available for remote direction.
