I have always wanted to try my hand at voice-work -- thanks to my crippling addiction to D&D -- and, I thought that it was about time, that I finally saw if I'd be any good at it. I hope that I can bring some good things to the table!
So, for the purposes of clarifying: I am totally new to voice acting. Hello all; my name is Silas and, well-- I have always been fascinated by the idea, of trying out voice acting. My experience has so far been limited to games, such as D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) and CoC (Call of Cthullu), and it is mostly through those specific mediums, that I have gained a type of fascination with the craft. I am hoping to try my hand at a number of things, but my primary thought is to simply gain some experiences, and to help in creating some truly fun and interesting projects.
I am Scandinavian, but I can perform a myriad of accents, also. Whenever I speak normally, it is with a clear American accent, but I can just about emulate any other accent, if I’m given the time to study them. Other than Voice Acting, I also have great interest in other things: Graphic Design, being one of them, and Script Writing (or writing in general), being the other.
I hope to be catching your eye and your attention, and that I can help in creating some great projects.
Pricing is not really of concern, at the moment. After all, I am just wishing to try my hand at something fun-- sure, if a project becomes a big endeavour, then a matter of pay would likely be brought about. I am sure that we'd be able to discuss matters such as these, once we get to them, however!
- I am hoping to try my hand at... just about anything, really. I am looking to develop experience, first and foremost, but if I were to pick-- then I’d love to assist artists in their storytelling. Whether it’s something like a comic dub, or anything fantasy-related-- I’d be down to try just about anything.
- Once again: experience. My long-term goal will simply be to develop as a voice actor. It’s a vague answer, I know, but to me it’s the most fitting. I may want to take it somewhere bigger, if it all goes well, or I may simply learn from this endeavour-- who knows?
- I joined The CastingClub since it seemed like the perfect place for me to start. To me it appears like this: A collective archive of great ideas. These ideas are all creative, and there is great potential around every corner. I hope to throw my hat in the ring, and see what I’m worth.
