Krys Janae is an Filipino-American Voice-over artist, narrator, musician, author, gamer and nerd from central California. She has over three decades in the Performing Arts (music, dance, theatre) and has been in VO since 2016. Now a regular narrator on Audible, her voice can also be found in animation, video games, audioplays, machinima, and more.
She’s received acclaim for her “easy to listen to” narration, and has worked with several authors spanning various genres including YA, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Sci-fi, Contemporary Romance, and Cozy Mystery. However, she is always open to new genres. In these titles she gives unique essence to characters of different age, personalities and even accents throughout.
As of 2020, Krys has completed works with award-winning publishing house The Audio Flow, Tantor Media, OrangeSky Audio, and many more. She was a principle character in SACRED FIRE by Poetic Studio alongside Doug Cockle (The Witcher). She is also the voice of Lady Guinevere in KING ARTHUR: KNIGHT’S TALE by Neocore Games, and the voice for Alexandra in the upcoming HEISTGEIST by Doublequote Studio.
An artist through and through, Krys also writes books, poetry, and music and has performed music for some literary works as well. She is the middle child with two brothers, and is a proud pet-mom of 3 cats: Lucy, Nova and Clementine.
