Jean Taylor

I’m an avid reader and passionate storyteller who loves getting lost in a great book and helping authors share that experience with listeners. I believe the best narration comes from collaboration, so I fully read every script before recording and connect with the author or rights holder to understand their vision, character details, and pronunciation preferences.

My favorite reads include fantasy, contemporary romance, fiction, horror, and thrillers, but I’m always excited to discover a new story and give it a voice that feels authentic to the author’s work. While I am new to professional audiobook narration and voice acting, I bring over 10 years of vocal training and experience as a singer, which has given me a strong foundation in vocal control, character expression, pacing, breath support, and maintaining a consistent vocal performance. I also have professional-grade audio equipment and an at-home recording studio, allowing me to produce clean, high-quality recordings from start to finish.

I'm especially excited about the opportunity to build a strong working relationship with a creator and create a finished product that we can both be proud of. I'm committed to being communicative, receptive to feedback, and professional throughout the entire process.
