@irritated_impHello there! I'm Bowie/Bo (they/them), and I am stepping into the world of voice acting (to my wife's delight). After years of reading to my wife, I developed a love of bringing stories to life. I am extremely excited to cut my teeth on paid and unpaid projects. I want to voice your vision!
I'm Bowie, a 36yo non-binary POC. I am new to voice acting but decided to pursue it after my wife's continued encouragement. My introduction to voice acting was through anime/animation dubbing. Eventually, that lead me to a particularly nerdy group of voice actors who spawned my love of Dungeons and Dragons. I met my wife through D&D; we fell for each other through our mutual love of story telling. To spend time during our long distance courtship, I started reading to her. I discovered a love of bringing characters to life with my voice. My wife said I had talent, but I didn't believe she was unbiased :). However, after a few years of reading book after book and an increasing desire to learn and grow into a real artist, I have decided to pursue voice acting.
Some of my favorite voice actors and personal inspirations are Laura Bailey, Kevin Conroy, Steve Blum, Ashley Johnson, Cree Summer, Erica Lindbeck, Matt Mercer, J. Michael Tatum, Kenjiro Tsuda, and many more.
