Tandem Dark

Thank you so much for taking the time to audition! I’m really excited that you’re interested in my project specifically.

For now, I don’t listen to any of the audio submissions until closer to the deadline, just because I don’t want to accidentally become biased early on. But I’ll definitely be going through everyone’s auditions once we get closer to the deadline!

Good luck, and feel free to resubmit as many times as you want before the deadline if you want to try something different or feel like you can do a better take. Have fun with it!

I’m the creator and artist of Tandem Dark, a fantasy manga/webcomic that I’m currently working on turning into a motion-comic series. This is a hobby and passion project that I plan on working on long term. I mostly joined Casting Call Club because I’m finally at the point where I want to start giving some of these characters actual voices! Tandem Dark has a pretty big cast, so I’ll be posting characters little by little as I work through the series instead of trying to cast everybody at once. Fell free to read if you want a feel for future characters you vibe with. https://tandemdark.thecomicseries.com/comics/1/#content-start

The videos will use the original comic artwork with some animation, sound effects, music, and voice acting. Some parts are pretty chill and dialogue-heavy, while others get more into fights, creatures, powers, and all the fun fantasy stuff.

I’d love to find actors who have fun with their characters and would be open to coming back for future episodes whenever their character shows up again. Since this is a long-term passion project, I’m hoping to slowly build a group of people who enjoy being part of it.

About Tandem Dark:

Tandem Dark is a dark fantasy adventure following Koze, a young boy trying to find his place in a pretty dangerous world filled with strange creatures, supernatural abilities, conflict, and a whole lot of complicated people.
