Tacticus

Greetings! I'm Tacticus, a UK-based actor, writer and voice performer with a BA (Hons) in Acting for Screen. My training lies primarily in screen acting, and I have lately begun bringing those skills over into the strange and wonderful realm of voice work. I have a particular fondness for characters with a strong point of view - heroes & villains, soldiers & scholars, authority figures & fools, and the various unfortunate souls caught somewhere between the lot of them.

Outside of acting, I'm a habitual writer, Journeyman worldbuilder and tabletop RPG fellow, with longstanding loves of fantasy, history(❤️) and, as my interests section may have already rather unsubtly betrayed, swords in an unreasonable yet glorious number of forms.

My current recording armaments consist of a RØDE NT1 5th Gen and Audacity, with which I can record remotely here in the UK.

I'm particularly interested in character-driven games, animation, audio drama, narrative projects and the assorted interesting bits of internet creativity that don't always fit neatly into one category. Interesting characters and good stories will readily seize my attention.
