ABOUT BALLARAT NATIONAL THEATRE
Ballarat National Theatre is a not-for-profit theatre company from Victoria, Australia. We began making online projects at the beginning of the pandemic and they've struck a chord with audiences. This project is not our first rodeo, it will be the company's third podcast audiobook and the second for this director. The director's first podcast of Pride and Prejudice was recognised as a 2021 Webby Award Honoree in the 25th Annual Webby Awards (Limited Series Podcast - Scripted Fiction) alongside studios including BBC, Comedy Central, and HBO.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Liana studied acting at 16th Street Actors Studio and has also completed a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing as well as a major in Literature Studies as part of a Bachelor of Arts. She has performed many times with BNT, most recently in the role of Truvy in Steel Magnolias, and has also worked as a performer at Sovereign Hill. She completed the 2017 LBWR Leadership Program.

Liana’s creative skillset includes martial arts, in which she has a 1st dan black belt and weapons training in nunchucku, bo, jo, tonfa, kali sticks, and knives. She is also a professional singer, professional photographer, and passionate writer. BNT’s Pride and Prejudice Podcast was her directorial debut.
