@lifeofblue19Queer, nonbinary, auDHD actor, musician, and nerd chasing my joy.
Hello! I'm Casey, a queer, nonbinary, auDHD actor, musician, and pharmacy tech. I spent my formative years as an overachieving band kid with a dash of choir and sprinkle of theater experience and evolved into a full-fledged nerd, spending my college years participating in every theater production, concert band, and choir ensemble possible. My friends and I also played D&D frequently, which helped scratch the theater itch between productions.
After dropping out of pharmacy school at the beginning of COVID, going into lockdown, and starting working full-time, I struggled with losing all my creative outlets at once. I missed acting and band more than anything, but due to several factors, could not join a local theater group or community band. Between lockdown and all of us entering the workforce, our D&D groups disbanded. Every creative outlet I had come to rely on was suddenly gone, and I spent the next several years with an arts-sized hole in my heart.
Then, in September 2023, Baldur's Gate 3 happened. The emotional effects of the phenomenal acting in that game led me down a rabbit hole that sparked a dream in me for the first time in years, since before grad school crushed my soul-- to be a voice actor.
So here I am, chasing down my dream!
(And of course, it's not just voice acting that I love-- but that's what is accessible to me at the moment!)
It's taken time, but I am making steps towards finding my joy and convincing myself that I'm allowed to do more than just the standard 9-5 corporate job. I'm so happy to be here and am grateful for the opportunity to be involved with some excellent projects! I'm passionate about the art, and the dedication to the craft, and I love any opportunity to create something and tell a story.
In addition to getting back into acting through here, I have also been taking dance classes (ballet, jazz, and tap) since Jan. '24, and as of Feb. '25, am part of St. Louis's first LGBTQIA+ orchestra!
I also am part of the transcript team for Phoenix Fables, a D&D-centric storytelling collective run by Jack Collard & featuring several other insanely talented actors. I have been assisting behind-the-scenes with the ongoing release of Fable of Shadows, a live-play D&D podcast, which I'm insanely proud of! Check it out on any of the podcast apps!
Games, podcasts, audiobooks; anything I can lend a voice to. I'm a predominantly-stage actor living in corporate America, so while I would love to be on stage again someday, voice work is the most accessible. I love creating art any way I can, and being here facilitates that while building a community that may otherwise be unattainable given geographical limitations.
