Up and coming screen writer and experienced animator waiting on his first option. As I wait I decided to solo create my own series to get me through the California fires and the Covid pandemic. I am marketing this show for Amazon and Vimeo and have started to gain an interest from the She-ra/Steven Universe fandom.

It's my intent to create a 4 season series with a beginning, middle and an end. A story aimed at children and young adults that makes heroes out of those of us with disabilities and in the LGBTQ community. My main character suffers from paraplegia and Autism, both things I suffer from. 

One of the issues I had with working for production companies was they wanted inclusion but had all the wrong ideas on how to handle or how to represents.

"Oh hey we have a gay character" Which turns out to be a hot cis woman sleeping with a hot cis woman.

Or "Hey, we have a disabled person" who always turns out to be the nerd who is all to often sidelined from the action of said show.

People of disability have strength too and it's time we recognized it.

The main heroine doesn't see her paraplegia or autism as a weakness and she really does the best she can with her social anxiety. She doesn't judge, she's never nasty even to her enemies and she's always the life of the party.

I hope I can inspire a lot of people.
