Experience: I have over 6 years of musical theater and general stage experience, with my most recent role being Inspector Javert in Les Miserables and Ellard Simms in The Foreigner. I am a member of the International Thespian Society and the Frederick County Public Schools Academy for the Fine Arts. I've competed in the NAACP's Afro-American Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) in the contemporary vocal and dramatic categories, winning a gold medal in the former. I'll be competing this July in the national competition as well.
I'm in high school and therefore pay no bills. For roles that aren't for profit, payment can be negotiated, but I will work for free if it's not explicitly a paid role. If you start making money on a project, I'd understandably like some form of compensation for my work.
I am primarily interested in one day being on Broadway and in Hollywood films, and I'm also interested in VA work for anime, cartoons, gaming, animated web series, etc. I hope to build my portfolio so I can get more prominent roles in higher budget projects later down the line, potentially becoming a full actor and voice actor as a career. Though in the meantime I plan to be an software game developer, primarily as a graphics programmer or technical artist.
