My name is Gilbért Beneako, and I am a voice actor, singer, and dancer. I have been a voice actor since 2017, and I have been a singer and dancer since 2006. I am also the founder of a small production team associated with Pokémon, Team of Uthtube.
I have many favourite voice-over artists/voice-actors including Sean Schemmel, Masako Nozawa, Ryō Horikawa, Christopher Sabat, Vic Mignogna, Eric Vale, Veronica Taylor, Sarah Natochenny, Rica Matsumoto, Ikue Ohtani, Billy Bob Thompson, Debi Derryberry and Hiromi Tsuru [JP voice actor of Bulma who passed in December 2017]. and I shouldn't forget Kay Bess with her ability to do many accents which got me sucked into one of her videos of ‘Agent of Mayhem’ on her site.
What got me into VO was how interesting VO artists and voice-actors use their talents to bring a story, documentaries, cartoon or a manga/anime dubs to life. What got me were Pokémon, The Simpsons (Golden Years) and Dragonball, and some games like the Gears of War series, Tomb Raider series, God of War series, and the new Dragonball series like Super and their games Xenoverse etc. When I was young, I always did different voices with different characters, and recorded them with my singing ability. With my love of music, singing and dancing, what also got me so intrigued by the voices of the characters and Pokémon voices [in which I can do some] is the flexibility of these character voices and definition and execution of voices from the VA and bringing them to life and making the anime and cartoons so interesting.
Team of Uthtube loves animation and stories. Animation is changing its core and the way it is presented, and stories are now diverse than ever before taking stories to the next level, bringing in character development and an authentic approach. Whether telling animation from a different view, telling stories is our aim.
I use some of my latest voicing talent to voice Pokémon called Treecko, Froakie, Sceptile, Blaziken etc; and the protagonist, Gilbert in a non-commercial project with my small team (Team of Uthtube) called Gilbert's Pokémon Adventures (which was created more than 10 years ago, but becoming a voiced animation series for the past 5 years now), but I also found out that I can do human voices like an Elderly man, passionate young African man, young kid, an alien, aggressive militant voice etc.
Team of Uthtube loves animation and stories.
