Esther Thibault is a Toronto area singer/actress with a passion for voice work. Esther has a BFA in Music Theatre from the University of Windsor. Favourite credits include roles in Canadian musicals such as Anne in “Girls in the Gang” (University Players); Mrs. Barry in “Anne of Green Gables”(Port Hope Festival Theatre); as well as other favourite roles: Ethel Merman/Elsa Maxwell in “Red Hot & Cole”- (Theatre Brampton) ;  Inez in “Life x 3” (Damsels in De-Stress production) and part of the original cast of the immersive production “Hogtown” (Hogtown Collective).  She was a Christmas Caroller in the ABC movie “12 Dates of Christmas” and  a victim in  Jigsaw .

In animation, Esther has sung on cartoons such as “Sailor Moon”; “Tom & Vicky” and “Captain Fatz” and voiced an educational cartoon for the 2004 Afghanistan elections. For 20 years, Esther voiced Descriptive Video for film and TV. A regular entertainer in Senior Homes , Esther has recorded  2 albums: Pickpockets and Loose Women and Midnight Carol Check out her YouTube page.

When that’s not enough she creates the pronunciation guides for audiobook narrators. Spending time researching obscure words like ‘anteambula’ has been a nice addition to Esther’s other jobs. Esther also sings in a church choir and works as a communication coach for medical schools, law school and corporate clients.
Esther has lived in Toronto for the majority of her life and is a first generation Canadian with roots in Germany. When not working, Esther socializes with online board games /classes and looks forward to seeing what she can coax out of her garden each summer.
