Joseph Halstead

This course essentially was my real Introduction to acting. I learned thoroughly the motto that acting is "Intentional doing in imaginary circumstances". It fundamentally broke down any expectations I had for acting and built them back up. 

This course taught me about the inner life and body movement with how it relates and drives acting. In voice acting, it's given me many useful tools to use in the booth recognizing physical energy, internalizing it, and bringing it to the mic. 

This set of classes has helped translate my head knowledge of theatre training into tools for character tools for Voice Over as well as what to do when receiving auditions and how to apply character work to scripts. It helps me bring auditions to life.
