For as long as I can remember, I’ve been telling stories.
I got into theater at a young age and pursued it throughout my life, performing in university productions, dinner theaters, and community productions… anything that would give me that thrill of taking on a role and exploring it with a group of fellow storytellers.
In 2003, I started an audio drama production company called Rabbit Hole Radio Theater, writing and producing over 40 original full-cast audio dramas with the help of over 200 volunteer writers and performers.
Shortly after that, I got on board with the podcasting scene and produced a show that brainstormed story ideas with authors. An audio producer heard my voice (and the passion and enthusiasm with which I used it) and gave me the chance to narrate a story for an audio fiction podcast.
Since then, I’ve committed myself to exploring how I can use my talents to bring the written word to life.
I’ve given voice to dozens of short stories, narrated audiobooks, and performed in several full-cast audio dramas. I’ve voiced commercial spots and educational videos for hospitals, corporations, and the US Army, as well as producing videos for Kickstarter promotions.
The written word is powerful but, when it’s read by a skilled performer, it becomes even more vital and compelling. My passion is discovering the true essence of the words I read and giving that truth a voice in the world. Voice acting is a bridge that connects people intimately with the ideas and stories that fill our world.
I consider that a noble endeavor worth pursuing with passion and dedication.
