My voice acting resume could be summed up in one sentence.  I officially have none; BUT, I have a
distinctive voice and skillset that will afford me and the client results.

Though my official training in acting goes back to high school,
I’ve been able to use what I learned then in my employment and day to day
life.

I am fortunate in that I have been told on numerous occasions that
people are drawn to my voice.  Many have
said that I should use my voice "professionally" as they find
"something about it" that they like and something to which they can
easily pay attention.  Folks pay
attention to what I'm saying and by extension "buy what I'm
selling".

That opinion had been expressed going back to my college days
resulting in my taking a position at a local college radio station (WDBS
Champaign/Urbana, Illinois).  At that
time, I was a DJ and spun tunes for 'DBS (which was a University run, cable
radio station), while working three jobs and studying to get into veterinary
school.

As a practicing veterinarian for over two decades, I spent a great
deal of my time educating clients about disease processes and how they impact
their pets and livestock.  To that end, I
used my voice each and every day to “sell” the client on the need to pursue a
particular diagnostic test or therapy.
Having left clinical practice, I’ve taken on the role of
instructor.  I have served as an
instructor at the middle school, high school and college levels.  I make my living speaking to students.  Students have also told me on multiple
occasions that they enjoy my lectures and find them easy to listen to and to
follow.

I would like to take the summation of all of these experiences and
apply them to voice-acting.

Lastly, I would say that I am professional.  In an age where people don't respond to
emails and can't put sentences together properly, I feel that I am a ray of
hope.  I'll do everything possible to
make you/the client satisfied.  I was raised
on and believe passionately in the idea that the client is always right and
I’ve learned the hard way what happens when that ideal is challenged.  I will give every job my full attention and
work hard to earn the trust you deserve.
