Diana McCleery
@diana_mccleeryMy wide ranging life experiences, including a Bachelor of Science and driving a school bus, bring authenticity to a large number of genres and industries. Bonus: I'm also fun!
You can find most of my "about" at my website, www.dianamccleery.com. But in a nutshell I've been all over and done a lot, most of which I will talk about. ;-)
I grew up in Memphis, and now live in Minneapolis. I'm on Casting Call Club mostly for voice dubbing, animation, and fiction podcasts. I'm proficient in several accents, and sing (mezzo soprano to alto). I also enjoy fiber arts and foraging wild food; is that interesting? I dunno! I guess we're finding out together!
In addition to my general voice over YouTube channel below, I also have a channel where I do Fallout 76 let's plays and Let's play and perform (https://www.youtube.com/@MsDianagentaToYou_WR) and a second where I review classic cult movies (https://www.youtube.com/@MsDianagentaToYou_MitBR).
coaching in general voice over skills
I had had some amount of voice over training before this, and they also made a couple of my demos. We worked extensively on performance and audio skills.
I have attended this yearly conference on the business side of voice over for the past four years.
Practice with VoiceQ and rythmoband, as well as several ways direction may work in a dubbing session. Also guidance for tightening up acoustic treatment of my studio.
extensive monthly coaching on dialects, resulting in proficiency in: Received Pronunciation, American mid-Southern, General American, Deep Southern.
Ongoing monthly to semi-monthly practice with dubbing procedures, performance, and character development.
in 2024 and '25, I focused a lot on performance skills for commercials and character work, what makes a great audition, a bit on dubbing.
With such a wide range of projects possible it's hard to set one price range. I generally start with the GVAA Rate Guide, and from there am always willing to reach a rate that clients and I are both happy with. I understand that many projects on this platform have little or no budget.
Dubbing, Animation, fiction podcasts. Let's Play/Perform, Commercials, E-Learning, Medical Narration
