Devon Yuxin Lew

Heya! Please audition for my ongoing film project!

I am a Malaysian Chinese art and animation generalist with an academic background in History. My main interest is in storytelling and the things that make us human. Also a huge geek about a lot of things.

Software experience -- Full Adobe Suite, Autodesk Maya and Zbrush, Toon Boom Harmony, Dragonframe.

I have 13 years of experience with watercolour painting, and 4 years in Chinese ink brush (which I have won local awards and appeared on local news for). I am classically trained in fine art fundamentals and aesthetics during my 4 years in art university/college.

I have a deep academic interest in the humanities, particularly History, which I did one year of a bachelor of in Warwick University where I scored mostly firsts on my essays. I was top 5% in the world for IGCSE English Literature. At the age of 15 I was also a finalist on a national creative writing competition (Oxford Fajar BigWrite).

I enjoy learning new things, challenging myself and stepping outside of my comfort zone, with a strong drive to learn everything I can.

I am most interested in a career in entertainment, as well as working with other creatives. I would love to work in film, indie animation, print and book publishing, working with musicians, or in video games.
