Hi, I’m David and I’ve been making voices for over 20 years.
I’m a lifelong character performer and the resident perma-DM in my friends’ tabletop campaigns. I like to learn new languages, and I can speak French and Spanish at GCSE level, taught by native speakers for an authentic accent.
I love collaborating to build believable characters, fully committing to authentic accents and personalities.
I was theatre trained at an early age and have appeared a wide range of productions over the years including The Winter’s Tale, The Tempest, Henry V (lead role), Grease, Journey’s End and Beauty and the Beast (lead role). That background gave me a strong foundation in performance, character work, singing and storytelling. I even tried my hand at stand-up comedy!
I have a dedicated home studio, complete with booth and professional audio equipment.
Whether you need a quirky character, confident narrator or something completely unexpected, I’m always happy to dive in and bring your vision to life.

David understood the personality of the character immediately, and that makes my job as a director so much easier which with so many roles going on I'm infinitely grateful for. The personality came through on every word and even later doing retakes just as I wanted to shift the tone of a particular line, David provided me with a bunch of different takes to make sure I got exactly the right one. Not even to comment on the crystal quality of his performances and wonderfully efficient delivery! I would very gladly work with David again.
